The zeitgeist seems to be that if you want to look good and be strong, moderate test and anavar at varying dosages will have you covered, maybe some Primo if you are rich. Other PEDs/higher dosages are mostly like party drugs, you do them to feel on top of the world for a short while, at a steep cost.

Being 52, it is funny hearing all these guys talk like they are old! I guess because I didn’t start peds until 31 I didn’t get beat down until later in life. I started lifting at 16 but didn’t try anything until the week I turned 31 and was hitting my groove at 35. I still felt 19 when I turned 31. If I hadn’t had the bike accident when I was 35 and a half I don’t know how much further I could have pushed things, strength wise. I could never get my strength back since the surgeries but I learned how to train around the pain and continued to get bigger. But I miss the strength I had.

Well you have to understand that these guys aren’t just recreational lifters. They’re both at the absolute top and it has been Larry’s whole career to just lift insanely heavy for years and years. Of course their wear and tear is gonna be way more than just recreational lifters who push themselves. Still, if you already experience these things at 27-31, I can’t imagine continuing lifting that way. I mean you only have one body they’ll be an absolute wreck at 40 if they continue like this.

I’m 27. Been lifting since I was 14. My body hurts. A lot, started powerlifting around 19,20. There’s a fat difference between working out and pushing the envelope every single day. Monster amounts of foods, monster amounts of weight. It will kill your joints. I’ve stayed natty throughout my experience but my body hurts. When you’re treating it as a sport it hurts.

Cool to see genuine perspective of a heavy hitter coming off. I've been off all gear for 8 months (trying to have a baby) and I experience the aches and pains as well. My experience with Tren and strongman is a blown bicep on a tire flip and the routine sensation of legititely suffocating after moving events. I got it under control with Singulair but the injury risk alone makes it a shitty choice.

Had the exact same for months when i came off after a 6 year constant steroids use. i am now off for i think 4 years and just this year started training again (no gear use) and i have fun. I do feel some tendons here and there but thats mostly because i did heavy training back then and had issues over time on shoulder tendons etc. But in my everyday life, i dont feel any aches anymore, your body will balance out for around 2 years now so you are still in midst of recovering from long term steroid use (assuming u just didnt do a 16 week cycle lol).

I turn 40 on friday and I used juice from 23 to 36 & 36 to current day on TRT. In, 2019 I started looking at reproductive health. I got a semen analysis and the test showed I produce zero sperm. The wife and I tried IUI and it failed. I took out a loan to pay for the full-blown IVF and by the grace of God it worked! My son will be born in the next ten days. AAS is fun and bodybuilding is my #1 passion, but for some of us it completely destroys any change at children. I only decided two years ago that I wanted to have one child(hoping for a boy) to carry on my family name. So Larry, I hope you dont have to go through what I did because you have to stop test for 8-12 months and that was super hard. Depression, No drive, no s3x, life just really really sucked!!

I feel like diversifying your training would keep the spice of life in it, just like your s*x life (YT blacklists me for naughty words). That's why I think keeping barbell and dumbbell training as a general whenever rule of thumb is best, but having Strongman training and awkward implement training is best as something to keep your body strong in minor areas and keep training fun. You don't do Keg Toss, Sandbag Carry Medleys, Yoke, Farmer's, Log Press, Atlas Stones and Natural Stones, etc. in Powerlifting or Weightlifting.

Pete I was just like you until about 2 years ago I never tried anavar I always thought it was like for the bikini girls. And it's become more prevalent now and I guess the big thing well about 2 years ago was the hardness it would give you and also the anti-canabolic properties. Yes all animals have that. Muscles etc. For muscle wasting disease. And it works relatively low milligram and I think prescription doses generally around like 10 or 20 and so I was taking 40. And man just like you I was like this stuff is awesome. I always thought anadrol was my go-to. Cuz I was that guy if I did a cycle and say the last 5 weeks was anadril 50 even if I done two weeks of 100 mg if I still had excess in the bottle or another bottle I would get on my cruise but it's almost like a how many piece of cake or candy or don't press that red button. Definitely I push the red button so like if I ever have any left off of a cycle I'll hit a buddy up in the gym over here you can have it because I literally like I loved anadrol. Anavar however gave me better strength games. By far. I was shocked I actually called my guy and I was like bro are you sure you gave me and he's like yeah. He's the time I was using a source that it was capsule. Everything every oral this guy was doing was capsule he would just obviously instead of putting it uphill press and yes you can get prescribed or the prescription in the bottle and everything but same concept as anything else. plus I trusted this guy because I have a nephew that is a chemist or biology and whatnot and he's in college and I gave him some stuff to test he's like a mad little scientist at his house and it was legit per milligram and everything and I'm talking about injectables and so I trust in this guy. but I couldn't comprehend the strength means what I was getting off of 40 mg of anavar. And I was just taking it because I was in a deficit I was trying to hold on to the muscle but I realized even on a deficit I was still not only holding the weight and I mean weight lifted but it seemed easier on my working sets and I didn't really mess around with my repetitions or anything like that my numbers stay the same. Because typically on a deficit you're going to lose a lot of strength so you're just going to work with what you got. No I ended up actually putting 20 pounds on my bench press. and I have a few guys back in the day you know I always heard about Tren as well and the old timers at the gym if you don't compete don't take it whether it's powerlifting body building whatever and from my experience obviously trend is end all be all because well if you've ever done it you know why. And the first time I did it was last year year and a half ago. it is because after so many surgeries and shrapnel in my back and back fusions and everything from getting blown up and multiple airborne jumps and deployments and ranger battalion I was just f***** up like I have 12 major surgeries plus removal of shrapnel in my back and my legs so I'm restricted on the squats but after 8 years of not working out. Not even a push-up I was like I'm going to get back into it I dropped all the way down to 168 from 255 lb a lot of it really came from the divorce LOL but yeah so I jumped on the 500 test and then the end and 200 mg of trin and by the 10th week I was 205 pounds with abs. And I'll tell you what I used to talk s*** kind of like what's the big deal with that s***. Cuz I was always the work hard and eat and all that stuff kind of guy and I took it man and I can see why m************ stay on it. It's a big thing for these kids where I'm at 18 years old first week at the gym they're using 500 test and like 500 trend within I don't know week 12. And they abuse it so much that they depend on it and you see them after 12 14 weeks they should have gained a lot more but they do their PCT and they lose the 20 pounds or whatever quick. And I can't deal with it because well then they get back on the trend I know people that have only been using gear for a year and a beach bar at best they have. And I know the pic have in the thumbnail but I was 255 years prior to this from 26 to 30. LOL they called me Johnny bravo and ranger battalion well in second age of time. Because my waist was small and a huge jawline.. .

Can't speak for the heavy guys (except one friend of mine who got huge on tren but could barely breath standing upright during his cycle) but from what I've heard out of the weight classed community (where I'd argue it's more of a mix of max strength and conditioning than for the shw, almost like very heavy crossfit): Tren seems to be extremely popular. Some base an entire cycle on it while others will only cycle it in towards the end bc they (literally) can't stomach it. I guess test is the most popular thing to just take year round. Anadrol, halo and anavar are names that you read quite a bit, too. So basically like PL, I guess?

Idk man, i personally love anavar. I’ve used just about everything. At 50mg and over I notice great strength improvements , great pumps, and just a more full feeling to the muscle even when not lifting. I think the fact that some people respond differently, and var is frequently faked has led to misconceptions. Also it’s been wrongly labeled the steroid for females….yea maybe at 2.5-10mgs, but try 80-100mgs/day of real var and tell me it’s for women. Mix it with some test/deca or test/tren and you will feel like a god in the gym!

Who cares if he’s strong at 70. It’s exactly that kind of thinking that will ensure he doesn’t make it to 70. At a certain point, you have to put away the ego and lift weights just for health purposes. I don't get angry either but I get sad a lot easier. But big chance that this is just life and has nothing to do with gear. Everyones body gets somewhat jacked up going into your 30s if you lift or not. That's why powerlifting is short lived for most lifting obscene amounts of weight is just not good for you or taking peds that's why you should always do things naturally and train smart because if powerlifting ruins your body what did you really gain from it??

I’m 43 and been lifting like a psycho since I was 12. Everything feels 100% and always ate meat based and very little carbs and high fat. I just wanted to pass that along I really think that’s why my body didn’t have the inflammation and wear and tear. Like I have zero pain anywhere. I’m 6’3” and been 300lbs plus same lifts as Larry for 15 of those years too. I was also natural up until 28 so that might have something to do with it. Personally I think people are eating too much high consistent carbs.

I wonder what would be an appropriate TRT dosage for Larry, in terms of maintaining his strength and body composition without going overboard and compromising his health. Does anyone know if Larry has covered his own TRT dosage before in a video?
@antonhallergren588
@antonhallergren588 2 жыл бұрын
You can't maintain size indefinitely on trt. But if it's 300 mgs you might maintain say 80-90% of your physique and strength for 6 months before you start going back to your baseline and if it's 150 you might only be able to stay there for 3 months before you start to decline significantly. To maintain just hormonal health most guys are between 100-250mgs but that does not make you hold any significant amount of size above your natty physique for any more than a few months.
@toadmove3774
@toadmove3774 2 жыл бұрын
@@antonhallergren588 Completely untrue. Derek from mpmd has covered this topic extensively (maintaining on trt) and the incredible amount of extra mass and strength you can maintain on a relatively small trt dose
@andrewnguyen664
@andrewnguyen664 2 жыл бұрын
@@toadmove3774 Yeah that's what i thought too, Derek claims that he maintained most of his physique size-wise with a proper dosed trt (not bodybuilder trt) and he swears to this day he doesn't take anything else so I'm just not sure anymore what to believe. There's no way Pete can function normally without being miserable without some type of minimal trt since he's been on gear for like 10 years plus, I'm not sure how his system can recover from that and produce normal test levels that are optimal for health and quality of life.

I’m turning 30 next year and I feel the same. I see these hs college gym bros staring at themselves in the mirror at the gym and I laugh bc I was the same. It’s so superficial and a big waste of time. I used to love it and lift 5 days a week. Definitely lost love for it and changed my workouts now to more full body 2-3 times a week and higher heart rate related stuff. There’s only so much time we have on this earth

Dude same for me. I’ll be 30 in a few months. Started lifting at 18 when I first went to college. I remember being obsessed. I went almost everyday, couldn’t stop thinking about it, and constantly was looking at myself. I thought that if I had a good body then everything in my life would be fixed. Over the last couple years I’ve found myself not nearly in love with the gym. Kinda lost my passion. But recently started training for strength, signed up for a powerlifting meet at the end of the year. And found I’m getting some excitement back. But you’re right there’s more to life then obsessing about this. I lift 3 days a week and do LISS 5 a week and I’m more than happy with that

I did one 12 week cycle at the 5th yr of training out of curiosity but stayed natural after that cycle. I did tren and equipoise weighed 170 before starting came out 193lbs. I'm 40 now and that was back in my early/mid 20s but crazy part is I only lost about 5 pounds and hold a natty average weight of 188 since that one time I did a stack. When I push myself I can weigh more than when I was younger on cycle, around a solid 205 if I try! Steroids I would never do ever again personally but I'm not upset with the permanent results I got. Point of your video that cycle made me feel simply confident but a polite, nice, confident version of me, so no negative side effects. Honestly only good effects but like I said just one cycle ever so I don't know about real long term abuse.

That’s something i’ve always been curious about as a lifetime natural. I mean i’m only 29 and have been lifting about 7 years now, never done a single cycle before but i’ve always wondered if it’s possible to have some sort of “permanent” effect from doing a cycle. I notice it with some of my friends, they were skinny before they done steroids but since stopping them they have kept a kind of mass they never would have had before.
@normanwilmoth7404

@@Barnzy213 you could safely do it occasionally and as long as you keep a good diet and train regularly you can hold most gains from a cycle. It especially increased my strength dramatically but that's what Tren does best. The cycle I did Tren, equipoise is on the upper end of the price range. Most people typically can't afford that stack. 20 years ago that same stack cost me 1,000$ for 12 weeks. Test, deca things like that are alot cheaper!
