Hate how they made will all “cursed” looking. He’s been doing his job ferrying souls, when he came back to visit elizebeth at the end of “at worlds end” he looked normal. Which means he’s been doing his job for 10 years. Did he all of a sudden just say, naw, I’m done lookin normal. I’m just gonna not ferry souls.

the music makes this scene extra emotional. i thought i was going to frek out in cinema 😅

I have to admit this is going to be great but I wish they went in the direction of showing Jack Sparrow's origin. Meaning, all the adventures he had as a child to the ones before the first pirates of the Caribbean movie.

This scene just screams budget cuts. "Yeah, my crew is totally here, you can hear them, see?" Also, I thought the fish curse was only a thing because Davy Jones made his job evil. Why is it suddenly bad to be on the Dutchman again? Sure, it sucks to be at sea for ten years, but I thought the worst parts were gone.

i saw the movie today and it was amasing

We all know the Captain and the crew of the Flying Dutchmen turn into sea creatures if they stop doing their duties (reaping the souls of those who died at the sea). We also know that Will Turner would have NEVER stopped doing his duties. So, I got a theory to excuse the lazy writing. The Flying Dutchman gets its crew by finding those who are dying at the sea (Bootstrap summoned Jones to get rid of his fate at the bottom of the sea, Jack also did it when the Pearl was sunk the first and he was dying). Henry drowns himself in order to see his father, who's bounded to appear when he's summoned at the time the child is dying. Henry says that it's not the first time he's done this and he'll keep doing it. But everytime he's saved Henry, Will doesn't take him as part of the crew. He just appears to save and let him go, over and over again. Maybe that's the reason he's got barnacles all over him and the crew seemed to be angry to be cursed again (he tells Henry "they're coming, they know you're here"). Maybe part of the duties as Captain of the Flying Dutchman are also to make the deal of taking the souls of those who are saved for 100 years. Or if they don't accept, get rid of them by leaving them to die, or killing them (like Davy Jones does in Dead Man's Chest). Now, I can't excuse why at begining, in Henry's writings it says that it's been 8 years since Will has been cursed and in the post-credits scenes form At World's End, 10 years after the curse, Will seems to be just fine.

here's an idea , the next pirates of the Caribbean movie should be called Neptune's revenge staring Evanna Lynch as the daughter of Neptune !!! I could almost write a script myself !!! that would be EPIC !!!! she is a stunning beauty if I say so myself .......I would wrap the plot around pearls , the pearl necklace of the daughter of Neptune , with the help of the mermaid Serena , then we could see what happened to the cleric after she saved him in potc 4 , maybe even get Davie Jones to help also !?!? ,,, it would tie in beautifully​ !!!!! j.d. Ohio....

I dont understand two things. In this part the Jack's compass is given by a man on that ship. Didn't Jack get the compass from Tia Dalma?? Another thing, Jack gave the compass to the bar man in return drink. It meaned Salazar could got out from Devil's Triangle. But in the previous films the compass was in other's hand (e..g Cutler Becket, Gibbs, Blackbeard) and in that case there was no Salazar and his escape from D. T. Any idea for that???? And there is a third spec, what hapenned with thr Queen Anne's Revenge? Is it destroyed by Salazar's ship?
