I just made these for my weekly meal prep. Teriyaki tofu, julienned carrots, snow peas, steamed broccoli and brown rice/quinoa combo with extra teriyaki sauce over everything. Really phenomenal! And it made me 4 meals for the work week. Thanks for another great recipe! 😊

I just want to say, I ordered your cookbook and just got it. It’s beautiful with all the pictures and I especially love how your grandkids talk about being Plant based and you talk about your life. Thank you for all the hard work you must have put in making this cookbook. I only have a handful of cookbooks and I’m so glad I ordered yours❤

Yum! I love this recipe. I use Coconut Aminos instead of soy sauce or tamari. WAY less salt for those of us cutting back, same great flavor! It also allows you to cut back a little on the maple syrup...

Ohhh. Jane mentioned tofu in a sandwich. One of my favorites is whole grain bread spread with hummus, then cooked spinach or tomato slices and tofu cubes (sliced in half) on top. (The tofu had already been marinated in soy sauce and baked.)

This looks amazing ladies! I just ordered the book from Amazon 🤗. I am so excited! I love tofu! My only problem is that it gives me lots of pimples whenever I eat it 🤔. I am trying to use the sprouted kind from Trader Joe's as a suggestion from someone who has the same problem as myself. Any suggestions?

Just watched this again and I was thinking can you use a vacuum seal machine and bag to marinade the cubes? I've seen people do that for meat and was curious how tofu would do? I was going to try it with Tempeh overnight in the refrigerator. To make Brian's Reuben sandwich.

Thank you! It looks great. I don't do salt anymore so I'm afraid of tamari overwhelm -- thinking maybe just a little tamari or miso with the liquid being water or broth so the tofu can still marinate .. have you tried this for low salt people, any suggestion on amount?

I just use a tiny amount of miso (like 1/8 tsp for the whole tofu block) and a little bit of date paste or date syrup and add the rest. If it needs more liquid I use unseasoned rice vinegar.

@04:03 There's not a lot of water in this; (referring to the tofu). Tofu is 87-90% water. We all make mistakes. Even me? I have stories. After cutting and draining the tofu, cut into the desired serving size and then freeze. Thaw. Drain. Then use the tofu as the recipe suggest. America's Test Kitchen has a vid here on KZfaq for the technique.

Learn to sprout alfalfa seeds and eat sprouts as salad everyday. Your cholesterol, your LDL, your tryglicerides will go down drastically in a week if you avoid oil, even olive oil, saturated fat, sugar, pastry, candy bars, pasta, bread, flour. All in all, sprouts are healthy. They lower cholesterol, blood sugar. But you need to eat mostly vegetarian like dr Neal Barnard teaches: no meat, no oil. Eat grain, nuts, seeds, fruits, beans, vegetables. Yes, no fun. But when our life is in danger, meat, pastry cannot attract us anymore. There are good healthy recipes for vegan food.
