PLASTIC Striking Scorpions Revealed! New Kill Team Season!

Brand new Plastic Striking Scorpions are coming to Kill Team Salvation, the new season of Kill Team that kicks off with Eldar vs Space Marine Scouts!
The Gallowdark has crashed on the Forge World of Bheta Decima which features industrial rigs above the ocean, and this is the new setting for Kill Team and sounds like a lot of fun from a terrain perspective.
There's 10 Striking Scorpions in the box with options to make the Exarch in a number of loadout, and interestngly, only a small amount of terrain in the box, and a separate full Kill Zone available separately. I think this is a great idea and will hopefully keep the costs down. I just hope they make enough of them...

The comment about aspect warriors coming from multiple shrines is because they stated this kill team can mix and match with other aspect warriors, they specifically mentioned dire avengers in the stream. I am an elf fangirl but I am a bit disappointed with this release being our kill team because it doesn't feel like a kill team, Its an update for striking scorpions (which is great) but its them packaging a range refresh as a different package which is kinda sad because Aeldari already didn't have their own kill team because we have corsairs and kill teams of 40k units being fielded as a kill team. They all have the same equipment which doesn't feel like kill team. I think they are just trying to double dip on sales is all. I also wish that they came with multiple designs such as torsos (they might but they didn't show them off if they did). I suppose I can kitbash them to make each scorpion at least feel unique or make a kill team of all the different aspect warriors :/

Yeah when they said you can mix and match, I decided to be hopeful and put that with the comment on WarCom about different shrines, and hope we see more in the future 🙂. The very open nature of the terrain would suit swooping hawks very well. I do agree with you about the kit though, as much as I love it, I’d like to see some more variation on the bodies but after so long, I’m just happy to see plastic scorpions. I also like how they have followed the recent Warcry release style with two teams and some scatter, and a separate terrain box.

I'm still getting used to the scorpions being so skinny, I liked the beefiness of the older ones (since they were wearing heavier armour). But good to get them in true scale now to match the newer kits. The sooner the aspect warriors are updated the better!

I’d love to see more - I’m certain they are coming but not necessarily as Kill Teams, however they are openly hinting that multiple Aspect Shrines from the Blades of Khaine are active on this Forge World. In the video a month ago when I said it would be Scorpions and Scouts, I mentioned it would be a good setting to introduce Swooping Hawks vs Vespid Stingwings, and now I’ve seen the open terrain I’m even more convinced they could fit nicely! 🙂

I like the new sculpts & separating the teams from the terrain will definitely be well received if this season is set around the same terrain set like last season was.

I recently finished painting my Eldar army. All 12k points of it..... Guess I could use some more Scorpions. I'd like a new Karrandras

Apparently he is coming, and so are the others if rumours are to be believed. With this new setting, I mentioned in a video or month or so ago it would be a good setting to introduce Swooping Hawks vs Vespid Stingwings…

While I like seeing new Eldar models it seems quite unbalanced to field a close combat team against a Space Marine team on a field which basically has zilch cover and you have to follow very defined paths.

I’m guessing the Eldar will have some sort of dodge or cover style mechanic to help out
