scorpions were my favorite eldar model from my childhood. cant wait to grab some. im very suprised taht they release the new scorpions but dont update the exarch

With Armour Of Contempt, everything is basically AP0 into marines anyway. That -3 on banshees looks good but still just at dmg 1 they dont hurt marines anywhere near enough to justify their higher cost. Plus, Karandras.

Im considering putting them in my army. Here’s my list so far. I need your opinion overall, and what I should put as my final unit! :) Farseer Fuegan Solitaire Spiritseer Autark wayleaper 1 squad of warpspiders 1 squad of swooping hawks 1 squad of shadowspecters 2 squads of fire dragons 2 squads of wraithguard/avatar of kaine 2 falcons 2 fire prisms I can fit either another squad of swooping hawks, the striking scorpions, rangers, or shroud runners. What do you think of the list? What should I pick given my current list?

I'll admit I'm not the most up to date on playing with (or against) Aeldari so I may not be an expert, but from a purely thematic standpoint I love that idea, I've always been a big fan of lots of Aspect Warrior Units on the board! I see Rangers being quite popular for their infiltrate and stealth so they can just sit back and pop off some precision shots into Enemy Character's whilst they on a backfield Objective which could be a useful thing to have? Alternatively another Squad of the Hawks might make getting some Secondaries like Engage on All Fronts or Behind Enemy Lines that much easier to achieve if your first Squad got killed! I would personally go for either Rangers or Hawks, but in terms of looks - the Scorpions win out for me! :D

Well they are not very good on the table, but I'm a sucker for Aspect warriors so I'll def buy. To be honest meta changes a lot, i pay attention but try to not make it the whole driving force behind my purchases

Absolutely, I love the models, and the new(ish) banshees so even though they aren't particularly good I have some! One day the Aspect Warrior meta will be back! :P

I'm hoping he will soon, he's one of my favourite Phoenix Lords alongside Fuegan, and I'd love to see both of them updated with shiny new models!

I really like scorpions. ❤ I really hate the new models. They look like they haven't done their stretches before the battle 😂 I'm going to kit bash some out of storm guardian bits. I've also seen some 3rd party ones that look so so so much more sneaky and dynamic and scary. Such a share about those weird wooden poses, unless they're all pretending to be trees. 😂
