If you did, then I'm pretty sure that you heard it well and thus can clearly hear the call handler being very unprofessional and even hurling an insolent epithet at her, whilst she still thought she was on speaker phone! The handler only asked her to give the phone back to "the male"; she didn't ask, neither did Dean think, to turn it off! ACE Audits had to censor the footage, to obscure private information! That's how she referred to a grown man, irrespective of whether or not he's right or wrong here, he is a man. He deserves the common decency to be referred to as such and not just as 'the male' of any given species. Is that the depth to which the police have descended or is it just women (I don't believe the latter and I CERTAINLY wouldn't refer to any woman as merely 'a female'. What are humans: cattle?); who matter more? Aren't we brothers and sisters? This is 2024. We ought be able to justify our existence by demonstrating that we are still evolving.

I do wish I could comment. The call handlers duty isn't to ask you why you do anything, flying a drone is none of their business unless it's over or near an airport. Your videos are educational and give more information about what we look at rather than Google maps or Earth. I'd put in a FOI and ask what emergencies happened that needed police presence during the time they were with you.

UPDATE: I've submitted a complaint to Cheshire Police about the call handler. A complaint to Kammac will be sent tomorrow. Hopefully get Dean some training on dealing with photographers and drone pilots.

They never do unfortunately.. It is a failing in the New Police worldwide as opposed to the old style of investigating and tying the complainant down to an irrevocable story (including a warning re lying to Police and wasting Police time) This used to result in far fewer "sustained" complaints......and far less waste of Police time.

I liked seeing the group of them walking back in when Ace put the drone back up. Poor little cherubs were hanging around to see Ace get tased, handcuffed, searched, all equipment confiscated, and then taken away crying in a police van. I bet they're still crying now because the two PCSOs didn't even bother going to speak to them.

@@rogerbroadbelt3424All the more reason as a site manager to understand basic laws such as public photography and drone laws. Sounds to me that rather than engaging his brain to understand the laws that would allow him to judge if somebody is a genuine risk he’s just too used to calling the police and crying for help, the sooner emergency services start charging for needless calls to 999 the better. If he wants to speak to the police for something that blatantly isn’t an emergency he should have waited in the queue for 111. Calling 999 when it isn’t an emergency is sickening, you could be preventing a genuine caller from being able to get through if all call handlers are busy, you’re putting lives at risk and there’s zero excuse, it’s just a lack of common sense combined with an inflated opinion of his self importance.

I've heard a number of these security goons referring to a "bonded warehouse". It just means a warehouse that is authorised to hold goods on which taxes have not yet been paid. It doesn't give the warehouse any special status with regard to security or protection.

I find it kind of funny that when a copper says 'we need to talk to the other side to make sure there's been no public order type offences (etc)', they never mention 'wasting police time with a nonsense phone call'!

Well handled. Calm at all times. You'd think that by now some e-learning would have been pushed out country-wide regarding police dealing with people flying UAV's.
