Wow. This was a healing, enlightening, and refreshing discussion to listen to for me. This was the first non-monogamous relationship I've seen that actually felt healthy. Probably because they are forthright about the need for boundaries and starting with a foundation of monogamy. It honors those parts of our humanity which I don't hear much of in the non-monogamy community. It seems like the message is: "Monogamy is outdated and unnatural. You should be fine with non-monogamy and if you're not you're not progressive or evolved enough and you're selfish for wanting your partner to yourself." I am grateful to know it is indeed possible. I'm monogamous but I have not liked my aversion to polyamory. Not because I feel curious to try it, but because clearly a lot of people do and I don't like feeling like I don't respect what so many people say is an authentic choice for them. I have not found anything that felt so truly authentic, courageous, and healthy until I saw this. Thank you Irka, Eugene, and Jayson!
