Pork Ribs King 排骨王 Singapore and Malaysia Tze Char Dish 新加坡马来西亚煮炒排骨王
Hey everyone, welcome back to g8stromania. Today we will be sharing a classic dish found in many Chinese Restaurants and Tze Char Stalls in Singapore and Malaysia: 排骨王 or Pork Ribs King. This dish is made of juicy pork with a tart and sweet sauce that makes it perfect to go with rice.
Ingredients:
400 pork loin
Seasonings:
1 tbsp light soy sauce
0.5 tsp salt
1 tsp sesame oil
0.5 tsp five spice powder
Dash of white pepper powder
1 egg
2 tbsp corn starch
Sauce:
1 tbsp A1(Brown sauce or HP) Sauce
1 tbsp of tomato ketchup
0.5 tbsp of worcester sauce
1 tbsp of plum sauce
About 0.5 tbsp of sugar.
0.5 tsp of five spice powder
1-2 tbsp of water
Steps:
1. Marinate pork for at least 2 hours
2. Fry the pork
3. Toast sesame seeds until fragrant
4. Fry garlics until fragrant
5. Add prepared sauce and reduce.
6. Add pork loins and mix until well coated.
7. Serve and garnish with fresh vegetables and sesame seeds
