How do you stay warm at camp? Sleeping bag? Heater? Diesel heater?
I recently made the switch from a Mr Heater to an XVentures Diesel Heater and it’s been an absolute gamer changer at camp. This unit is portable, safe, efficient and overall cleaner for the environment. I hope this video helps!

YES!!! The solution I've been looking for my minivan camper. My roof rack will perfectly hold it in place and I'll funnel everything through the sliding door and window. I just need to figure out securing it (so it doesn’t wander away) and to build out a window insert for the air duct. Completely worth the $600!!

Wow!! I didn't even consider a diesel heater for cold weather camping. I recently needed to upgrade my gear for cold weather as my children were asking to go camping in the snow. I ordered a bell tent with a stove jack and had not yet picked a stove to go with then I came across your review. I ordered one before I finished the video. The first thought I had was YES! I don't have to feed a stove all night. I'm excited to take this out into the field and try it out.

Is it possible to add a return from the tent to the cold air intake? Just thinking of ways to increase efficiency. Great video! And for the record, I'm looking into this unit for outside work scenarios where I use an ice fishing tent to battle the elements one day at a time.

You can also get a clamp with thumb screws and save the need to use a screwdriver altogether. I’d tighten the air hose in the outlet of the unit because of the proximity to the exhaust exit (or add an extension to the exhaust pipe to create a bigger separation. All in all, game changer

What's the best ducting for the output air to the tent? I'm a touch worried the flexible stuff doesn't expand to a full 3" and creates back pressure. I have some flexible stuff with PVC on the outer layer and I'm not sure how proper it is for handling the heat. I love that it compresses down tho. Any thoughts now that you've been doing it for a while?

Is the case weatherproof? I have a vevor 5kw all in one vertical model and I have it sitting outside my van and pipe the heat in through a port but, i have to cover it with a tarp to protect it from rain. I looked a 2 other models that come in cases but neither one was weatherproof. Eventually, i want to mount mine in a box on the side of my van and just hook it up when needed. That is a beautiful set up you have there.

When we're off the grid nobody want to smell diesel fumes. Please share, anyone in the comments, is that a consideration or is the amount of fuel burning so little there is no odor? Not just for myself but the group I'm with. If I have to consider wind direction to prevent sending odors to my camp neighbors that will nix this type of heater.

Where would you set up/ locate the Diesel Heater when it's raining or snowing? It doesn't seem to be waterproof and probably requires good ventilation for the unit to work.

Should use turn-key hose clamps because you tighten the clamp by hand.
