Ported Snout And Throttle Body Worth It For Your Hellcat? DYNO TESTED!

We recently heard a claim that ported snout and larger throttle body on a Hellcat is useless unless you're running full-tilt boost. So, we put this claim to the test! And with our subject vehicle equipped with just a 2.85" pulley and producing only ~15psi, this was the prime candidate for our test. But, sometimes the keyboard warrior is right... is this one of those times?

I did that in the beginning, but I should’ve just went with the Whipple and go all out would have saved me a lot of time and money😁

Porting in general is one of those things that almost always makes power or does something positive to the powerband. Much like throwing on a bigger intercooler the big downside to ported is the money/labor to do it but boy do i love these videos keep it up

Great video! Just a quick question, have a hellcat didnt do any mods on it and wonder if I need to do porting because I was shocked when I saw the result if you don’t do it from jokerzperformance. Any suggestions? Or should I just stick with the stock Hellcat? Thank you!

It is just an option for the customer. We offer JLT for these packages as well.

How much whp on 2.85 pulley if you ported the supercharger as well?

2.85 with full ported blower on 93 I made 780whp and e85 made right at 1000whp

After spending 4 grand an going through 2 sets of bearings I'd say don't waste your money on the stock blower and put it towards a whipple like I did.

Did you spin a bearing and wreck the rotors? I was debating going whipple due to a spun bearing.

Do you have any numbers from a full SC port?

I don't believe we have controlled test results with a full port like we did in this video. The snout and throttle body are definitely worth it though!
