I am genuinely brokenhearted right now because I started trying to look up the hedgehog as soon as I saw it and they cost $5-$8 minimum stateside. ashens the reason the hedgehog lights when you tap it is that you briefly cover the solar power cell. you see it only comes on at night when it goes dark and charges in day from light. so it's not broken and doesn't need tapping.

We were selling those Queen of Clean things where I work, but they had actual plastic torsos and arms, which made them look "better" but it also made them completely useless as brushes, not to mention the fact that they cost $3 each. You don't know how lucky you are having Poundland in the UK _(or after Brexit - 'the Kingdom formally known as United')_ or 99 Cent stores in the US Yes product quality is extremely low but everything in the store is the same price and it's really cheap. Down here in Australia we have Discount Store chains, one of which is even called *Dollar Tree* _(false advertising much?)_, but none of them have a uniform low price, they might as well be high-end stores when you compare the prices. One store I was in last week had those exact same Hedgehog-Garden-Solar-Lights for $14.95-AUD which is equal to £8.79 or $19.61-USD! The closest thing we have to _'$1 Stores'_ are the Japanese *Daiso* stores where 99% of their stock is $2.80-AUD.

just gonna say the little plastic tv mounts are actually really good, I've got one holding up a little 19" tv in one of the bedrooms and in the kitchen and there perfectly fine and have been for around 5 months. they look cheap but they function perfectly well if you want to easily mount a small flat screen somewhere.
