Thank you so much It was the most difficult thing for me in bharatanatyam to sit and jump up immediately But now i can do it easily Can you pls tell how can we do it repeatedly because after doing it thrice my thigh looses energy

respected pratibha maam greetings! i always had a few questions regarding this dance form. you are the only teacher I have seen who gives tips so I assumed, approaching you could provide my dance a brighter technique 1) is it ok to have gap between your toes while you sit in aramandi position? i find myself struggling to go on a deeper stretch without either having a gap between my toes and ankles or lifting my heels 2) how to control the number of times we blink during a dance? i never realize that I awkwardly blink an unacceptable number of times until I don't record myself and I don't have any idea on the ways to control them 3) is it alright to smile with teeth? greetings again:)

Hi! 1> I guess you meant heel and not toes. Watch kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m7-Ve6qhteCVomg.html . In short, yes you could have some gap. But there are some rules around it in the books/Shastra we follow. 2>Practice yoga eye exercises or tratakas Refer kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fNCSaZqB1Z-okWg.html 3> It is alright to smile the way you smile :)
