I don't feel any particular bias against the Unova starter pokemon, but it is pretty odd they made a Sea Otter evolve into a freakin' Sea Lion.

I've heard speculation that Litten turns into a sabertooth tiger, which is similar to an idea I had for a starter chain. Kiteral - the feral cat pokemon (is a cat, fire type) Tasmeral - the extinction pokemon (is a Tasmanian tiger, fire/ghost type) Saberal - the extinction pokemon (is a sabertooth tiger, fire/ghost type) The idea I was working with was a region based on Australia and New Zeland (the grass starter is a kiwi that turns into a pheasant and then a bird of paradise (secondary flying), the water starter is a platypus that gets a sword-shaped then axe-shaped tail (secondary steel) I'm pretty hyped for Sun and Moon because it looks like they're going for some of the same or similar ideas that I was.

I actually really loved Snivy's evolution line. Black was my first game and Snivy was my first Pokemon. I just love how majestic and badass Surperior looks. He goes from this snobby, snarky lil thing to a somewhat more magestic snobby, snarky lil thing to a gadang giant lord of grace and power. I also may've named him Loki, so there's that too, lol.

Just like you did "draw Pokémon from memory" you should do the same thing but with their silhouettes instead of names! It's even better if you don't know the Pokémon, and you just end up with a new Pokémon with the same silhouette as an existing one!!! You are the best btw!!!

Here's how the Unova starters go. Snivy gets a bit formal at first, then forms into a sleeker form for better movement. Oshawott gains shell weapons, then gains full shell armor and a sword. Tepig starts decently cute then gets fat and ugly, then gets fatter and slightly less ugly. Side note, snakes evolved from lizards, so Snivy's evolution line follows real life evolution.

Smarott is the worst. Should have turned into an actual SAMURAI!

Emboar is the worst one. He's just another cop-off of the coolest Fire/Fight pokemon EVER, and he's just a fat sumo pig (Not to mention he selfishly took the half Fight combination from what should have been for Samurott). I would have to agree I don't so much like Samurott's design. Too much seal for an otter based pokemon. Dewott is always the coolest, but Samurott isn't all bad. Concealed blades, awesome shell armor, super saiyan fu manchu. Once you get past the seal-esque look, he is pretty super bad
