Natural Remedies and Acupressure For Morning Sickness Relief:
1. Avoid getting too hungry. Try regular meals and snacks and even try having something small 20-30 min before you have to get out of bed.
2. Keep blood sugar levels stable by limiting processed and refined foods, white flour, and sugars. Also including protein, fiber (in fruit, vegetables, and whole grains) at meals.
3. Limit high-fat foods which can slow down digestion and increase nausea.
4. Limit caffeine which can trigger nausea.
5. Avoid foods that trigger your nausea. Fish and the cruciferous vegetables (broccoli and Brussel sprouts) are common triggers, but may also be non-food items like flowers or leather or any other strong scent.
6. Try bland foods. Foods that are often tolerated well are rice, oats, fruit, cooked milk vegetables like carrots and squash, soups, and bone broth.
7. Cool or room temperature foods may be tolerated more than hot foods. Ask for help with cooking and food preparation if it’s difficult to prepare food.
8. Try drinking fluids between meals rather than with your meals.
9. Ginger and Peppermint have anti-nausea benefits. Try ginger or peppermint tea or a peppermint chocolate smoothie. You can simply put slices of ginger in hot water. Gingerale does NOT contain real ginger so it won’t be helpful and is high in sugar.
10. Try taking your prenatal vitamin before bed or with a meal or discuss just taking folate with your doctor if it’s making you too nauseated.
11. Try not to get over-tired or stressed. Both fatigue and stress can increase nausea.
Essential Oils that are good for morning sickness: Camomile, Lavender, Ginger, and Peppermint
12. Try relaxing in a forward fold with your head resting on the block (or a book) pressing on the space just above your eyes (your third eye)
13. Try acupressure wrist bands
14. Avoid lying down right after eating. Also laying on your left side may help nausea.
15. Can massage around xiphoid process between ribs for nausea relief (see the video)
16. Can pulse on the inside of your wrists between the tendons where the vein crosses for nausea relief

i'm 5 weeks pregnant and this is my first kid so the emotions i'm feeling i've never felt before and this was my first time meditating and doing yoga and this helped me so sooo much my boyfriend doesn't understand much so i need to find a peace of mind in myself and this is a start and so far from just this one video i feel amazing i'm soo greatful for you and will be watching your videos throughout my pregnancy and after. hopefully i get flexible too. :)

I found this channel when I was 39 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I realized how relaxing and helpful yoga is at that moment as I was doing mostly HIIT and Cardio at that time. Now I am 5 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. I learned about it only yesterday. I don't want to waste any time so started today. Thanks for your wonderful videos.

I just completed this video on my 12th week of my 4th pregnancy. I've been doing yoga for 15 years. It's been a heavy emotional journey being pregnant. My first pregnancy resulted in a perfect baby who is now 3. My 2nd and 3rd were miscarriages. I just found out at my 12 week ultrasound that there is a fetal anomaly and a good chance this one will not make it either. I still feel pregnant, and today is the first day i've done a full yoga practice since testing positive. The 1st trimester drained my whole self out of me. The words that you spoke in this video were so simple, but made an impact on me. I need to hold my belly, take time to show love to the being inside of me. Maybe if i do things different this time, and actively set intentions for this pregnancy, it will manifest positive outcomes: holding a living thriving baby in my arms at the end. I just want to thank you! Not only did this help me physically (great flow and postures), but on a spiritual level that i did not expect. Namaste

Almost 11 weeks here :) The sickness seems to quiet down a bit (or I am just getting used to it and it doesn't bother me as much as it did first). I've never done yoga before but I've gone from being fairly active before pregnancy running and cycling to sedentary at 9 weeks pregnant due to nausea and fatigue, I figured I would give this a try as any other form of exercise would just be too much for me right now. This was just so relaxing and at times I even felt emotional during these poses. Thanks hormones!! But either way, this just felt GREAT and exactly what I needed. I am definitely going to be trying more pregnancy yoga to get me through 1st trimester. Thank you!! ❤

Love these videos. instructor talks gently, explains clearly and moves slowly which made it very easy to follow up, perfect for beginners. The moves really help to relax my body and give body some good stretches. I do it everyday!

I couldn’t comment on the kid’s workout videos but I just wanted to say that I appreciate your videos so much. I’m a stay at home dad due to the pandemic and these videos have helped engage my 3 year old so much. Lately the air quality from fires has been so bad, that this is our best way to burn that kid energy

Hi! First of all, thank you so much for your videos! I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant and I'm not really used to working out, so that's my main purpose for this year, so that both my baby and I can stay healthy! I have a question, I see you have lots of videos but I really don't know how to organize, so do you by any chance have a monthly workout plan or something like that so that I can follow it?
