Thank u so much for especially needed exercises, really appreciate ur work n helping all new mums. As mine is c section n this time for 5th baby I gained much weight, I didn't get time in first 3mnths to work on for muscle separation as bub was very fussy, now as getting into routine he is 4mnths old now I started doing these exercises, I have 3fingers muscle separation, n I have a question if coning is happening what can I do?? As first 3months I was unable to takecare of myself n was just busy with my kids...I am wearing tummy band as well, pls suggest me about conning if that's happening what can I do?? Thanks lot in advance💝❤

Is it ok to go back to “regular” core exercises that put strain on the core (like for example sit ups) after mostly healing DR or is it never a thing we can do again?

Love the vibe of this channel. Ive had 3 babies back 2 back. Hopefully ill be able to start excersizing at 3 week postpartum. I am currently 2 weeks postpartum. So what do the women do who may experience coning with EVERY excersize, if thats possible?

No Time To Slumber Thanks so much! Congrats on baby # 3!! Girl or boy? Whew... back to back.... you are a busy mama! After 2 close together I def needed a break! Lol Maybe 2 weeks is just too early if you are getting coning with heel slides and single toe taps. You could start with simple transversus contractions and pelvic tilts when you are ready. Can you go see a pelvic floor physio? Hope you are recovering well and enjoying your new sweet bundle 😍

I have a 3 finger wide opening right on belly button and about a 2 finger opening just above what’s the healing time aproximately I’m 6 months postpartum

Nancy Vazquez ...Hi Nancy! It’s hard to say exactly because also depends on what your core strength was prior to your pregnancy. Usually I see at 6 months pp a 2.5-3 finger gap takes 4-6 weeks to get under 2 finger gap (which is normal after birth). This is if the right core exercises are done for a few minutes each day and anything that causes coning is avoided as well as heavy lifting.

What does the deep means I think I have a 3cm deep into belly button
@PregnancyandPostpartumTV
@PregnancyandPostpartumTV 5 жыл бұрын
The deeper it is the more likely there is to be a problem with your functional abdominal strength. Are you noticing any weakness or pain? Are you able to go see a pelvic floor physiotherapist?

How long is the healing process regularly....

Hi Lilo Ayala! It’s a little different for everyone and will take longer the older your baby is and the larger your gap is. If your gap is 2-3 fingers at 6 weeks postpartum and you do 10 min per day and avoid exercises that pull them apart then 6 weeks is a reasonable time to close the gap to less than 2 fingers.

Pregnancy and Postpartum TV I had a c section so I only did moderate walk during healing ... then I started with squats and more cardio ... wandering if I waited for the 8weeks would it be little longer ? ... also how can I check if I have a really big tummy ? ... does your belly start to shrink ?
@PregnancyandPostpartumTV
@PregnancyandPostpartumTV 6 жыл бұрын
Hi Lilo! It may be a little longer. How many fingers wide is your gap at your belly button when you lay on your back and just elevate your neck and shoulders? If you start with just a few minutes daily it should start to close. There may also be loose skin or new mom's sometimes have extra weight there (visceral fat).
