Pro-Beijing activist Chan Ching Sum has petitioned against Chinese top official Xia Baolong, urging the China Liaison Office to clarify the security law as Hongkongers 'dare not to speak up' due to its vagueness.
The petition was planned to take place in front of the China Liaison Office in Sai Ying Pun, but - with a heavy deploy of plainclothes police - told reporters that it was “suggested” she host the petition near an MTR station instead. In full: buff.ly/3Ib3Sd9

Hey HKFP? Do I have this right? Ms Sum is a supporter of PRC control over HK. She wants PRC to clarify the security law so HongKongers understand how to keep improving their city. Sum wanted to give two letters to a top PRC official from a HKer regarding this topic. She gave them to a CLO representative instead. This representative didn't answer a reporter's question about their identity.
