As on the original Elftmann design, the hammer and trigger rotate on sealed bearings that give you an ultra-smooth trigger pull AND hammer release. A drop safety on the sear prevents the hammer from releasing if you have a butterfingers moment and your AR-15 impacts the hard ground. The lightweight, skeletonized trigger shoe (flat or curved face) with neat horizontal ridges rests comfortably under your finger. The NEW addition is an adjustment screw at the rear of the trigger module that lets you easily change the pull weight with a simple slot-tip screwdriver or even with your fingers - look Ma, no Allen wrench needed! You can access the adjustment screw WHILE the trigger is installed IN the rifle, which is great for folks like Caleb who don't settle on a final pull weight until they've tested the rifle at the range. These triggers are available with anti-walk hammer / trigger pins or Elftmann's Pro Lock screw system to anchor them securely in the receiver.
