change tools by hitting 1 or 2 on your KB - it takes you out of build mode going in the hut keeps you warm without a fire, but don't get too cold before you go in bananas do something... they improve your health!

I like it when someone has the confidence to release a video on a game you have never played. It makes me more comfortable playing a new game cause the pro struggled in the beginning, too. Thank you for your content

Hey bud, Love the videos. Suggestion for fire to keep warm and in rain: build a fire pit under the rocks of the broken lighthouse. Give it a try

Its very encouraging that the dev team listen to content creators and act on their experiences in game. I don’t know if I will be able to play it, it depends whether it’s ever released on PlayStation. I would buy it if it becomes available as I have thousands ( around 2.500 hours) playing Stranded Deep both playing and making mods for it, and this is very similar, possibly even more beautiful! 😃 I do hope they add a variety of fish to the ocean. Fishing was a great joy to me in SD and the colours in this game are gorgeous. Many thanks for sharing this with us, I for one really appreciate the time you put in to give us this free entertainment.

@@generalg1946 Na not realy there is allways the one thing that did it tight, and then there allways be1000 ripoofs.I dont believe they could do annything better then stranded deep.

Nice video! Like the playthrough and your style. I've played a lot of the survival games and sure this looks similar to Stranded Deep but a number of others as well. That doesn't matter, those games all used their own flair on essentially the exact same style of game/map. My comments on the game: I'm betting at some point you'll have another health bar related to potassium and bananas are needed. Or it could be something like Green Hell where if you let the bananas spoil they can be used as fertilizer for crops. As for the coconuts ability to pick up ocean water (while some games don't let you because it's salt water, some do) and it's usually done by dropping it out of your inventory right into the water, then picking back up? I'm also wondering if the stone knife would be better at splitting the coconuts. About halfway through watching. Will give any more ideas if I spot any. Great vid, people hate, you do you.

You only have rocks, wood and leaves to craft anything, yet, there are running boat motors? Hah That definitely takes away from any circumstancial realism

You said in one of your other Project Castaway videos that you have Stranded Deep, but have never played it. Would you please consider it? Absolutely! I was debating between that one and green hell and only picked green hell because I thought it would be something different than Project Castaway. I actually have it installed, and will start it after I finish story mode of GH👍🏻

From what I understand, you can have a fire inside of the large shelter.

Yes the only trouble I have had with that is you get stuck, I placed a big shelter twice and wasn’t able to move afterwards. That’s my only hesitation with it.

U should try The Forest it gives a real good survival challenge. Especially on higher dificulties its a ongoing fight. Survival and Crafting is smooth like butter.

Haha yes it will probably be true in the future, but for now it’s just tinnitus from industrial work my entire life🤷🏻‍♂️ Yes some are starting to sub more often. This year has been really good thus far. Someday I may just try to go full time, and try it out. People do it, why not…right😉

Not 100% sure I just try to stay fully rested, fed, and plenty of water. Which is easier now since they added coconuts in the trees! Makes life much easier

I personally have never played stranded deep. And because this is a play test I haven’t really stuck around long enough to see if things respawn. I may have to do some experimenting with the game and test its limits. I’ll do that Saturday 👍🏻

there was a moment i could have sworn the banana healed 1/3 of your hunger but i might be mistaken. it might have been the meat you ate. and it does seem the bananas are bugged. without testing myself or having you test it i cant know.

Yes, I tried eating several bananas and they didn't do anything for hunger. Maybe for stamina...I can't remember.

Hopefully they have some bigger islands with ruins or something and obviously fishing and diving. Igunanas, monkies, wild boars, coconut crabs. everything Stranded Deep doent have lol this game is more realistic than other island survival games and I hope the best for it.

It's really not to bad right now because there are only a couple things that can kill you. But I think it will get harder, for instance when they "Activate" the shark. Nothing like Green Hell hard, yet.

Well, it's not for sale yet. To me the graphics of the game are much better. More realistic than Raft. The game is in beta and still a work in progress. I don't think we can make too many judgments yet as to the end quality because it might change! Excited to see where it goes though;)

I really try to not use profanity, but it can be hard sometimes😂 but indeed for those exact reasons.
