I worked on the Judas and the Black Messiah movie that unfortunately was forced to release on HBO Max rather than theaters due to covid. Highly recommend giving it a watch! It did a great job at telling the story of Fred Hampton. I didn’t know a lot of it until I worked on it so I truly appreciated the way that it shared his story with the world.

There is a great movie about this. Judas & the Black Messiah. William O'neal was interviewed years after the incident. Once the interview was released he killed himself, didn't want to deal with the clear backlash coming his way.

Another suggestion is Centralia, PA. A fire started underground in the 1960s and its still smoldering today. A very toxic town! It lost its zip code early 2000s, but theres like 5 people who got court orders to live out the remainder of their life there.

The fact you and your team look into these things and find the truth and speak about it on your platform and bring things to light that some people didn't know about helps. Not only are you keeping the story of those that were unlawfully killed by FBI alive and making sure they are remembered. You're also bringing awareness about how those in power hide their own crimes and twist the truth of innocent people that did nothing wrong other then have different views to them. Shows how far they will go to cover up wrong doings by those that are supposed to protect the public.

As someone from the Bay Area who grew up learning about the Black Panther Party, had a family member that was apart of the organization and also heard Bobby Seal speak, I have always been very familiar with what the FBI did the Black Panther Party. That said, I'm glad that more and more people are becoming more aware the Black Panther Party's real history and what the government did to dismantle them and undo their work, then implement some of their programs while taking credit for the ideas. It's unfortunate that for a lot of people still to this day, they view the party through a negative lens. But it is refreshing to know that people are learning and finally understanding the truth. For the 50th anniversary of the Black Panther Party becoming an organization, the Oakland Museum of California did a special exhibit to honor the Panther Party. In the exhibit, they had broken pieces of one of the houses that served as a meeting place for Party members that was bombed/shot up by law enforcement. It's wild the lengths the government went to discredit and destroy an organization that simply wanted equity for Black and Brown citizens. Thanks for sharing this, Bailey!

My father was on the longest walk . he told me and my brother that sometimes along their journey randoms would show up to talk to members of the walk and certain elders would warn everyone to not associate with them at all because they were dangerous . the people that did well .... A lot of them were never heard from again . my dad said one of his friends on the walk were one of those people . he said he saw him get in the car with one of these people and drive off . he never heard from him again

Since the last comment talked about waste being dumped in the love canal , another ‘great’ topic is the hinkley groundwater contamination in Barstow CA . My friends family was unfortunately raised in that and they had a lot of long term effects from the tragedy . They made a movie about it with Julia Roberts !

I had the episode turned all the way up on speakers and my English bulldog Squishy barked when Bailey came on. Me: “no Squishy. Bailey is family. We don’t bark at family “ Teenage daughter: “Did you just call Bailey Sarian family?” Me: “I said what I said.” Short story long welcome to the family. Squishy says hi 😂
