I was on the protein world weightloss shakes and fat metabolizer pills for a month. I am down 10 pounds. It was kinda skeptical at first, but my clothes are starting to fall off. I also changed my eating habits, a lot of water and vegetables.

Your looking really well plus your amazing and so honest I'm going to look in to it now as I have find slimming world hard this last 3 weeks and have just give up I'm like you I'm obsessed with food and have a up/ down relationship with her and it's just got to a point where I've had enough so I'm going to have a look into it and see if it works for me so thank you for your review on it you've give me some food for thought lol xx

Hi Donna, i was thinking that maybe you should ditch those additional tablets because something I've discovered is that weight loss is no t always just a simple calories in v out equation. Guarana may have a high caffeine content that could provoke your insulin & insulin puts a block on burning fat. Any stimulants that stress out your system will hinder you. Cortisol is a stress hormone that makes your body cling to fat too especially around the middle. I find weight loss impossible sometimes especially if I've been sick, stressed or working too hard. I may be barely eating and doing everything right but i just will not lose as much as i think i should have. So i think the good news is to focus more on de-stressing and nice relaxing activities like moderate-gentle exercise and stretching instead of going hell for leather! :D Hope you don't mind me adding my two cents.

+doves750 I'm so happy & grateful that you took the time to send me this message. 🙏🏼 Firstly, i stopped taking the tablets on Thursday after i'd stepped on the scales & saw the disappointing results. They not only have guarana but caffeine too which as you say may of stopped things movi g along(strange though as they are called fat metabolisers 🤔) I know i have a funny body. I had gestational diabetes with Amelia & diabetes runs in the family too. My blood pressure has been high for months & i do get stressed quite easily. My weight is mainly around my middle(at the front) so all you've said makes perfect sense. I have had a lovely long walk this afternoon & love swimming so i will do more of this instead of intense gym & spinning type stuff. If you have any additional info i would love to hear from you. Oh i'm so glad Donna! :D You may regret asking me for additional info as it could be a bombardment! haha! I will try to make some notes on what i think could help & that helps me the most, & send it in an email. (I know you can then decide if its right for you since i'm no health expert or anything) My worst health issues were extreme pain from IBS.-i felt really messed up in every way because of it so i know how much our diet can affect our lives! Healthy food made it worse so i often resorted to chocolate which i felt definitely made it better! The diet called FODMAP saved my life. I didn't know where to turn either and felt like i needed a degree in rocket science to know what was OK to eat! When it comes to caffeine there is evidence that if taken before exercise it increases fat burning but i don't think more means better. If we have trouble with insulin i heard no more than 2 cups of tea/coffee a day is recommended. ;)
