Hi guys! So I made my own Scroll Rod (XXL) stand as I was having real problems finding a good fit for me. So spending around $15 (including the funky tape) was not a big deal if it didn't work out for me.
Here are the measurements I cut my pvc pipe down to:
4 x 4" pieces
4 x 9" pieces
2 x 7" pieces
2 x 10" pieces
2 x 20" pieces
1 x 26" piece
You will also need 2 x 45 degree elbows, 6 x 90 degree elbows and 4 T Connectors.
I used 15mm pipe which Q Snap clamps fit perfectly on if you want to use this as a frame instead of a stand, which I will do at some point!
I am going to make a smaller frame size (around 10"x 10") for smaller projects down the track and instead of having the little feet that stick out where the scroll rod sits, I will finish the frame with an extra length of pvc pipe to make a perfect square.
Hope this helps those that are having trouble stitching with enormous scroll frames and couldn't find a good fitting stand that suited you~
