I us it a lot when I am parked in summer time and have the AC on high. I use it in cold weather to warm the truck up faster.

Help please idk what I did wrong I did this but my truck idle down Iam using switch 3 and I had a 1/4w 16k resistor and bUT the leads on the resistor were super tiny? Like really tiny can you tell me what resistor to use? Also I did white with brown stripe to solid green with the resistor in between and the switch wire ( looked to be purple with green stripe to the yellow with green stripe. Idk what’s wrong other then the lead size on the resistor?

Umm what's your rpm for a 20k resistor ? Ford body builders chart calls for 1.5k resistor to set rom at 1250rpm

I set my cruise and it high idles my 2017 Ram 2500.

Do you have to use a resistor or can you connect the wires straight

You need a resistor. The resistor ohm rating will set the high idle rpm. Directly connecting it would likely screw something up. Or pin the throttle wide open, the lower the ohm rating the higher the rpm. for instance 51k ohms for 900 rpm, while 680 ohms would be 3000 rpm

I have the same year f250 and it is not working for me either. Can’t figure it out at all did you ever figure anything out?

@@garrettnorton5820 yea I did, the auxiliary wires are tucked up way above that bunch of wires. I connected the wrong wires maybe try checking to see if you connected a different wire other than the aux wire

Hey there! Could be used for all kinds of things. Anything that needs more electrical current from your engine or higher rpm. I mainly use it when jumpstarting other peoples vehicles. It gets more juice from the battery sent over stock idle.

Unfortunately I don’t think it does.

It does but it requires some work. you need to take the up purple wire from the upfitter switches and wire it into the yellow wire from the 12v constant next to the switches and it will.
