I installed several Quorums back in the 00’s. Five Custom Series, two Classics, and one Capri. One Custom Series had to get returned due to a banging noise I never figured out (installed on a two foot rod). Besides that, all were dead-silent on all speeds, great speed range, excellent airflow, etc. Highly recommend for a better-than-builder fan. The prices were outrageous back then. Obviously you got a total steal! They charged $50 for a hugger adapter and a laughable $90 for a remote kit (came with a new switch housing without the chain or reverse switch). But where I lived back then they could only be found in a very few lightning showrooms. Great find for the price, for sure. I think they will exactly serve the purpose you intend them for.

I have a Quorum Axis ceiling fan in my bedroom and it works great and it even has a reverse chain
