You would be surprised, we in portugal have english ever since 4 grade, we also have french obligatory(5 grade) and we can choose to have German or spanish (in 9 grade) if the school has the option, if not we have to stick with french and honestly I don't see I never learn french ( too hard) but english was always fine.

Listening to the story about the cheating ex... was by far the best story for me on this channel. Within the last year, my ex cheated on me with someone I thought was a bro(who was engaged to her BEST FRIEND). Just getting to hear someone got such good revenge on such a horrible person fills me with joy. The best I got was by the end of the relationship most of her friends had shown their true colors and been deleted, blocked, etc. Her friends when she did this were all my friends and family that immediately cut contact with her. So now she has no one but her parents, who are very toxic people, the ex bro, and after its been 8 months since then, the child conceived that gave her away.

I once dated a woman who shared a lot in common with the woman in the last story of this video. We dated long distance for a year. The relationship was going wonderful. She was able to find a new job and her own apartment in my home town to bring us closer together. She had to start her new job at a certain time of the year (she's a school teacher). So I was going to move in to her apartment when my lease expired. In the first month after her move, the relationship went south. Like New England to Florida south. She blamed me for moving, me for giving up her job. She had always compared me to her father and said I should climb the corporate ladder and be exactly like her daddy. (this was a long time thing that pissed me off - I love my job, and do not ever want to be a manager). One night, she was trying to set up her new modem. I am a software engineer and could do this with my eyes closed but instead she called her father for help, who lives 4 hours north. I was texting her all night and trying to call her, unable to reach her, thinking that she had been hurt in a car accident or something. Finally she answered at 8pm, asking me to come over at setup her modem. I couldn't as I had just put a casserole in the oven, and needed to get to bed early for a meeting at 7 the next morning. But said I would come over first thing tomorrow after work. She then blamed me for not helping her and called me unreliable. She said I had ruined her life because she chose to move down to start a journey together. I am so grateful I got out that. She was the one to back out of the relationship, but I would have initiated the breakup if she hadn't. Ladies, don't ever try to setup your boyfriend for failure just because of your own failure. Don't ever try to find your dad in your boyfriend, that's gross. Every man is his own and you can find qualities of your dad you like in your man but you can't expect him to BE your dad and treat you like a daughter.
