The jail story reminds me of something similar that happened here. Part of my job is archiving newspapers and I read this article in one from 1913. A repairman was arrested for something minor and escaped later because no one had taken his tools off of him (?!) He stopped by the sherriffs house to leave him a note that said 'ill be at home when you want to sentence me but I don't feel like waiting around in that cell' and the sherriff just dropped the charges cause it was funny

5:02 My aunt is a hair dresser and only lives maybe thirty minutes to an hour away from us so once the three of us (my mom, brother, and I since my dad just gives himself a buzz cut) got to the point where we really needed a haircut we just went to her house like we always do and had her cut our hair since she lives in a house with only her husband and two kids it's a lot less risky (plus my grandmother is a nurse and she visits them pretty regularly because my aunt and cousins have a somewhat weaker immune system as well as other health problems so we knew it was probably safe). We just wore masks while she cut our hair and went on our way.

The living with your parents thing is becoming more true. I moved back in with my parents after my divorce because I had nowhere to go. I've stayed because its cheaper in the long run for us to pool what money we have to pay the bills. They took care of me and now its my turn to take care of them in their golden years
