R35 GT-R - Front Differential Fluid Change

3 жыл бұрынHow to perform a fairly simple preventative maintenance front differential fluid change on an R35 GT-R
This is not a terribly difficult project but it does require some patience and some extensions to be able to remove the fill plug. Critical things required:
- 1L 75W140 Synthetic Gear Oil (.65L used)
- 2 crush washer seals (Nissan P/N 11026-4N200)
- Fluid pump or syringe
- 10mm hex bit
- 26ft-lb (35Nm) capable torque wrench

great explain. I done the oil diff fluid change. What i see is the rear oil is clear and the front oil is dark. Also on the front magnet i notice grey slush. Is that normal?

Some grey sludge on the magnets is not uncommon, but it is an indicator of wear starting to occur so I would keep an eye on it. I'm a bit surprised that the rear was clearer than the front, unless the rear has been changed more recently than the front.

So for front and rear diff all we need is 2x bottles or 3? - really good video!

To do both the front and rear diff you will need 3 bottles.
