What is happening to you is not right and definitely not Christian. I don't understand how people can be this way. The church should make an effort to make you feel welcome. Perhaps if you spoke to the pastor and tell him how you are feeling, he should be aware this. Sorry you are going through this, I hope things get better for you soon. Your life is more important especially since you're the only parent your child has it seems. My emphasis is on humanity and the imago dei and the inherently value and worth that is intrinsic in all of us regardless of the colour of our skin or race.
