I saw this mouse on kickstarter. I had absolutely no hope in this product. They had "professional" gamers review this mouse. I looked all of them up. Nothing. Not one person was real. I contacted and got a hold of one of the people running the kickstarter. I asked him about the pro gamer's reviews. Never responded.

"I think it (the joystick) is a cool new idea, but..." I think that pause at the end there spoke volumes as to what she REALLY thought.

i have a Logitech g504 and i would recommend as i cannot physically break it, i throw it at walls and smash my desk with it on a daily basis.

Why: Has a laser sensor instead of an optical sensor. Also i'm pretty sure I can guess the sensor name just from those specs alone. Well I can't confirm because I can't find anything on this mouse on Google but I assume it's probably in most other laser mouses.

i love the contrast of the "reviewers" saying things THEY don't even know what mean, and in the end of this video, you making a summary that *sounds* a bit like their claims, except, at each word I can VISUALLY imagine the mouse's feature (and its usage) you're talking about as well as it triggers the whole thoughtline you made about the feature, so my reaction is "yes, i know what you mean, of course" as opposed to the "do you even know what the words you're using mean?" when watching the other "reviews". good work. go straight ahead :)

Very interested in the mouse your using. Been using a basic one for years but never realized how helpful one with numbers on the side would be.

hey, rags your praise the logistic g600 but how is it for people with large hands? currently using a DeathAdder because it's so oversized it fits my hand perfectly but it's cramping my ability to play support roles in some games I play.

This mouse is pretty ok for 3D modeling. you can rotate and move stuff around while modeling.

Ok that thing doesn't look modern. First glance, I'm reminded of those cheap Logitech mice from the late 2000's.

I had to stop the video around 39:40 and take a break from my PC for a solid 30 minutes. The level of inexperience and incompetence in that review is astounding.

If this mouse was under $30, I would buy it.

I use a Razer Naga Chroma and I love it. It’s like $50 or $60 I think and it not only looks great but also fits my hand well. I have 12 customizable buttons. For example: CS:GO: 1-3 are the 1-3 numbers, 4-8 are grenade buttons, 11 is voice coms, 12 is crouch/shift. Thanks to that I can immediately swap guns without having to use the scroll wheel and I can walk without without moving my left hand.

Rags I have a question I use a Logitech M570 side trackball mouse for general use, while I agree the price tag is crazy, could the side joystick be comparable to my trackball? The mouse seems tiny, was it, it seems smaller than a standard mouse.

Glad someone else had the same opinion I did with this mouse. When I saw the kickstarter, I thought "huh that sounds interesting", however thinking about it more, I started to realize these features don't make much sense, especially the tilting feature, as I got the impression it would be a pain keeping your hand steady to not activate buttons by accident. The side joystick seemed like it could be useful in some situations, such at controlling freelook or the camera angle in 3rd person games, but as Rags points out, it's rather redundant. Would be nice if the mouse had removable covers, so you could choose if you wanted a mouse with 10 buttons or the joystick.

this will probably get burried but I have a couple of comments: 1. While the joystick on a mouse idea honestly is one of the stupidist ideas I've heard of, howcome no one has done this with a keyboard yet? maybe I'm just an idiot, but if you put an analog stick on the left hand side of a keyboard, and left off the 10 key, you could make pretty good best of both worlds combination of keyboard and gamepad, but maybe I'm just not thinking it through. 2. people may laugh, but there actually is a fairly intense minecraft PVP scene, and I can tell you as someone who has dabbled in it, it's way more complicated than it looks, you've got ranged, melee, throwable potions, enchantments, and the fact that people can use blocks to deform the terrain means that there are many differant builds and strategies involved in minecraft PVP; it's not my cup o' tea, but it's not a crazy as it sounds.

Good God those reviews hurt my large Italian weiner. Personally, I would recommend that G403 prodigy. I'm not a big fan of side buttons for the simple problem of panic pressing them. I don't know why I do that, I just do. I like the mouse I mentioned because I prefer larger mice. Although as cringey as these folks are, watching my buddy play get over it with a trackball is still the hardest to watch moment gaming related ever. Lord was it spastic. Anyway Rags, awesome video as always. Oh yeah, handsome brass! Do you reload?

Hey Rags. I have a G600 and G13 myself great mouse and game pad, sadly their getting old and worn out and Logitech have stopped production for them. Would you have any recommendations as a replacement? I've had Razer's in the past but i've had really bad luck with their build quality and went though 4 of their copperhead's in 1 year a while ago, hence why i went with Logitech.

What about games like Elite Dangerous or Take on Helicopters? Are the joysticks precise enough for that?

I can think of one other use for the 3d joystick axis feature, which would be that the side to side motion you could probably use in games like rb6 to tilt your character around corners, which even then sounds like you would constantly do it by accident, so maybe not even that.

Glock 20? Those looked like 10mm rounds.

Came back to this review thinking there's one demographic which can get a practical use out of the thumb stick over those with buttons. Those with joint issues might have a better time with this as an alternative.

Rags is my favorite content creator on youtube becuase I leave every video of his so far feeling that they benefited me in some way such as if they made me think of something from a different point of view than my own. Rags you're the best keep on keeping on.

I bought a corsair mouse with the 12 buttons on the side when it was on sale. It even comes with a small allen key to adjust where the pad with the 12 buttons rests on the side of the mouse. I would never have survived raiding in Final Fantasy 14 without it.

This mouse would only be good for Descent and Forsaken, where you move 360 degrees in every direction

Love the video! Currently playing on a battered and bruised 2013 Deathadder. My left click went out 2 years ago, and I've gotten around with changing my right click as my primary click. I'm too lazy to pick up another Deathadder so a cheap-o $10 Wallie World mouse does anything the Deathadder can't. lol Also weird that they made the Lexip a claw mouse, when it clearly should be a palm poor decision.
