Think a C for Burnley is kinda harsh. Why is everybody focused on incomings only? Nobody ever talks about outgoings in a transfer window. That can also massively affect your club's summer too. Getting rid of deadwood and the money you get for them is crucial.

We had to sell Iwobi because he had 1 year left and he wouldn't sign a contract, better to get £22 mil than nothing next summer. The stupid part was not getting a replacement, that falls on the recruitment team for chasing Gnonto all summer dispite hetting rejected again and again

It didn't look like they would, but Liverpool have had a decent window when it comes to rebuilding that midfield. Szobo & Mac10 are absolute ballers. Gravenberch at 21 will become one of the best midfielders in his generation under Klopp. And Endo isn't the established DM Liverpool could have signed but it will allow Bajcetic who is a perfect Fabinho replacement to develop further and thrive. If they sort out there backline in the next window or 2 they'll be back competing for the league next year.

Honestly, Ings can do a job if Antonio gets injured. He's arguably the better finisher but Moyes' system requires that physicality and graft, but Ings thrives in teams like these like he did at Burnley and Southampton, few chances but he'll put them away, especially with a much better-supporting cast in Bowen and Kudus, and most notably his best supplier in JWP.

Believe it or not they have a net spend of 200 mil euros this summer and this is not considering the sale amount of Lewis Hall which is a loan at present. Also, Lukaku and Kepa are loan moves and will generate more funds when finally sold. As a lot of high earners have been moved the yearly outlay on salaries has decreased. Sterling(28), Chilwell(26), Silva(38) and Bettinelli(31) are the only players above the age of 25.

As a Gooner I agree we were B. Even if Timber wasn't injured we still needed another CD or LB, especially with KT going. Timber was not brought in as a LB, he was brought in for RCB or RB, its just hes a talented player. So even if he was fit, a LB was needed. Still unsure on Striker or not, not sure if our System can accommodate an out and out striker. A Thierry Henry like player would be perfect, and we kinda have that in Jesus. Brighton for me did the best. Selling 2 top players and then replacing them and getting the signing of the summer in Ansu Fati is massive. Ok its a loan but its still massive. Begrudgingly I admit the best "Impact" signing goes to the scum down seven sisters road, they may have lost Kane but they dont seem to have missed him and Maddison gives them a new (bloody hate saying this) way to play. Plus making sure they kept Kulusevski as a permanent signing was crucial. My most shocked signing was Palmer to Chelsea, hes a talented young kid and surprised City didnt send on loan. Probably the best deal Chelsea did, as I think Caicedo is over priced.

me being a newcastle fan i think theyve got the newcastle rating wrong. going to the games and watching them play (well tonali play) barnes hasnt started in league for us came off bench and 3 times got 1 goal which is good. i think tonali performed well against villa but hasn't shown up in the other games. and spending 70mil on 2 fullbacks and none of them starting is very poor, yes i know trippier atm is irreplaceable but lewis hall etc. i think we lacked signing a centre half as we only have 1 rotational cb who i dont feel uncomfortable with on the team sheet (dan burn) lascelles isnt good enough for us anymore, harsh, but true. we have had lascelles since 2015/16 and he only performed in championship. i wouldve like to have seen the likes of antonio silva, young and spectacular. and on about the outgoings, we only got rid of players we wanted too on loan which in my opinion isnt good enough. selling maxi for 23million is ridiculous hes a 40million+ player with the market nowadays and i also think we sold him too soon. overall i rate our window a C
