On the evening August 10th, one of many large rainstorms ripped through eastern long island, keeping the area's volunteer fire departments busy. Shown are the East Quogue, Riverhead and Southampton VFDs responding to an operating at several incidents, including Southampton's 5 ton "stump jumper", 7-3-10, being utilized to rescue occupants of a flooded out vehicle. Along with the incidents shown, first responders also responded to a bear rescue in Water Mill, two additional flood rescues in Southampton, a rollover in Hampton Bays and several other smaller MVAs and storm related incidents.

0:30-2:34: Riverhead FD operating at a smoke condition in a restaurant
2:34-2:56: East Quogue FD Ambulance 7-6-17 transporting from the rollover to Peconic Bay Medical Center
2:56-4:05: Southampton FD Brush 7-3-10, Utility 7-3-15, Chief 7-3-32 and Engine 7-3-11 responding to a water rescue
4:05-4:47: Southampton FD Engine 7-3-11 and Captain 7-3-55 responding from the water rescue to standby for additional calls
4:47-5:56: Southampton FD operating at a flood rescue
5:56-6:09: Southampton FD Utility 7-3-15 responding from the water rescue to a wires down call
