It is so so thrilling to roll back in to the bygone decades and century beautifully captured by the photos...I enjoyed all the photos that froze the time,moments ,history and life then ,helps me connect with the changes that I have seen in my lifetime since 1950 birth year,have become fond memories and these photos help me connect with my memory of my time frame.I also love to watch the movies taken in all these timeframes and in 17 th and 18 th century with whatever technology. Fascinating,thrilling,beyond words,and expands y own life experience far far prior to my birth year 1950

People lived so frugally. Innocence writ large on their face. Every moment a struggle for survival. Simple hard working peasants. Those were the days of our ancestors. Of course present day technology and facilities have made our life convenient and easy. But has this been able to make us joyful and happy? I don't know.

Assets and dignity? If the British didn't come to India there would have been no Railway systems, No Roads or cars, no technology, I could go on and on. The British Empire is probably the best thing that ever happened to India. Millions of Indians now live and work in the U.K and other western countries sending Billions of dollars Pounds and Euro back home to their families in India every week.
@curiouscynic4357 Жыл бұрын
@@sanjushah3061 Most countries where the British NEVER set foot were getting railways. Pathetic to think that British were the ONLY ones! India's wealth at the time was so huge that it would have had railways far more than ANY nation on the world. You pay them they deliver. That is basic. Sas colonial mindset still lingers on with limited dignity or ability to read history beyond what the British and their brown slaves gave us. It massive loot from India that contributed massively to build Britain. A nation with 16% of world's GDP was reduced to less than 1% after systematic looting and stripping of all manufacturing means of the jewel in the crown.
@FilesdocumentsAndreposit-kr3vb Жыл бұрын
@@sanjushah3061study about the deindustrialization of India. Even saltpetre and gunpowder and consequently guns were being manufactured in India prior to British arrival.. No railways ... Well it's was entirely financed by indian taxation.

In my childhood and olden days i.e in 1980s & 90s there was less developed and I was feeling uncomfortable with availablity. Now everything is modern technology and Iam feeling very much comfortable in life and younger generation are very fortunate, but in my opinion, they are not utilising in proper way and fully. Otherwise they will get lot of success by utilising latest facilities with modern technology of all kinds.
