I would encourage everyone including Ray to watch the two latest vids by Andrei Martyanov. Russia does indeed have 8 satellites to detect ballistic missile launches in orbit. And of the two drone attacks by Ukraine on Russia's ground based early warning radars, one missed, and the other did minimal damage. Andrei specifically called out Ted Postol as having out of date information, and he provided sources to prove it. That said, the concerns about these western supported attacks as extremely provocative escalations are valid, and show the recklessness of the people in charge in the US, EU and NATO.

I have a lot of respect for Ray McGovern. However, regarding the question of Russia`s early-warning capabilities his story stands in stark contradiction to what Andrei Martyanov says. And Martyanov has a spotless record as a military analyst. I think these things are difficult. Maybe sometimes there is a temptation for analysts to see more than there really is. Difficult for us laypeople to decide what is real, and after all, the experts are only humans. I side with Martyanov.
