Welcome to part two of the gq patrol build. this time we get the rb30 put back tougher and installed in the 4wd.

just a side note, I bought a trashed XD v8 4 spd manual ute , running on Gas, to convert my 6 cyl, auto XF ute into a fully functional v8, 4 speed Petrol driven beast lol. it had its challenges as the XF's weren't designed to have v8's . who doesn't love a challenge hehehe

Hi Tim, as a boaty I started watching Harpers Boat Shed to see what you could do with Kiara.I'm not into cars or engines but I enjoy your approach to all things mechanical and life in general.As a matter of interest what is your day job?

Hi mate and thanks for the support across both channels. My base trade is a fitter machinist but I work building pumping systems for mining. I also do a lot of fabrication and mechanics on the side too.

disappointed its lp and petrol, never mind you'll convert it 1 day. what is the fabrication in the back with 3 vertical fins??, the engine should run well, as an economy rebuild, there wasnt that much you had to buy, its a bugger about the head and block though. good luck

Lol one day mate it will be converted that's for sure. In the background that's the tail for Dads gyrocopter he is building.
