being a kpop multistan, I can guarantee you that no rapline is even closer to bangtan rapline. They are top tier. Lory you need to watch their cypher part3 (which by the way is my fav cypher) busan concert live along with ugh . They ate it up for a freaking free concert.

*I completely agree with this analysis* *RM = It is a Rapper that demonstrates technique in the Flows and the Lyricism is more polished, more refined (If you pick up Rm's 2015 mixtape you'll understand this)* *Suga (Agust D) = Has the Characteristic of Being More Aggressive, It doesn't have any type of polishing, it's direct and raw, Punchline, but it also has its technique (Example Suga's 2016 Mixtape Agust D Agust D / Like The Song The Last)* *Jhope = It also has an absurd technique, but the big difference of Jhope is the rhythm, it's the cadence. without letting go of punchlines and gressive when he wants or needs it. but jhope shines is in rhythm and meter control . From his First Mixtape Hope World in 2018 to the most recent Jack In The Box in 2022, he has this characteristic, if you remember the song Arson you will understand well, how intelligent Jhope is and controls the fit of the rhymes very well, and Also on the Album Jack in The Box as a whole there are several songs that show this how; Stop, = (equal Sign), Safety Zone and Future* _~Know hill_ I believe that one of the pillars of BTS's success, musically speaking, is the fact that the 7 are all so good and so different and when they come together they complement each other, both in the rap line and in the vocal line. I highly recommend you listen to 1VERSE, it's really good :)

I love how they improved as the cyphers from 1-4 esp Hobi, Hobi’s flow in 4 is his the “now” style, I think he found his style already at this point

Don't forget Yoongi is Mr. Tongue Technology. LOL When they performed Killer at the Busan concert, RM was super intense. I chalked it up to it probably being his last chance to perform with the group for awhile since they were going into their solo era. Rewind a bit - they had been used as pawns by politicians for years about whether their enlistment was going to be waived. Right after Busan, Jin's enlistment was announced. Because the concert was part of the bid for the world expo, there were politicians in the audience. So, RM yelled "You can't control my shit" right in their faces because BTS took control of the situation and refused to be used as pawns.

As many have said - try to find and watch these 3 go off their collectives doing Ugh and Cypher part 3 live in Busan - Hobi's entrance in UGH is just the ultimate swag - Yoongi's rap in Cypher part 3 - that part where you had to have a mouthful of coffee and a momentary think lol - that is electric - and then there is Namjoon going off - and Hobi's insane "killer" at the end. Hard to find it on YT so you may have to watch another reactor watching it - Daily Motion did have it but not sure if there anymore. Cypher part 4 live is available on YT - and again - just them going off...in the best possible way :)

Cypher 3 is my favorite cypher, they performed it at Busan along with Ugh and yoongi performed his parts for 3 and 4 at his concert it was amazing can’t wait until you react to the cypher medley 💜

If we talk rap line there is "Outro: Her" actually rap line really loves this song, Hobi and RM think about it as one of their favorite, but for some reason it isn't that popular in fandom, I mean nobody realy talks about it, sadly... it is very chill song, totally different then rest rap line, I really like this one, it a such nice melody for ear, Suga produced it... So if we don't talk solo rap songs bc there is quiet lot in BTS albums, as you may know... Then I would say "Intro: School luv affair" is rap line song too. Then is Suga's"Nevermind" Suga write it and produced, everyone will say it is his solo, but at the end RM and Hobi rap with him. But it is all with only them 3 together. Then there is few unit songs, like "Respect" by Suga and RM, or "Strange" by Agust D and RM. And "Huh?!" Agust D with JHope. And "School of tears" that I saw you will do, there is second song predebute by , Suga and Jin. I forgot name, sorry. There are also old BTS song that are all 7 of tyem but are really rap heavy... i'm sure you will get to them.

Love all the cyphers with a little preference for the third one. Maybe cuz Yoongi is my bias and he sends me to HK each time :p lol. But yeah, all the cyphers are awsome and different. We feel the progression, the confidence and the maturity in the lyrics. Cypher 4 is also super cool cuz we cang sing along. It's the more sarcastic, even if Yoongi goes savage anyway!

Cypher 3 Killer they are still pissed off. By 2016 Cypher 4 they are above haters. Chill but empowering. Except Suga didn’t get the memo they are above petty anger and ripped from go still pushed off at haters 😂😂 (my impression). They just get better and better as they go. 4 is my favorite because a whole stadium or arena screaming “I love myself I know myself” is so dang powerful and empowering. Im going to suggest other lives. All 7 members went feral during the Cypher 3 live Summer Sonic 2015. It’s amazing to see the others adding in adlibs on stage. But it’ll get blocked so watch for yourself or Patreon. Also Cypher 4 on the channel Queen. It’s got the best audio and video of all the adlibs they do for each other it’s majestic.

Cypher 4 is more chill on recording, but goes so fucking hard live for no reason. I went to watch Suga’s D-Day movie in theaters recently and he performs his verse from cypher 4, it is ridiculous the energy you get with all ppl around screaming along with you “I love myself”. You def will love to watch the cypher medley live, it is some of the best performances from the rapline, so much stamina, so much talent, so cool seeing them go off on the haters live Oh BTW, when J-Hope mentions “1verse” on his verse of cypher 4, and I’m pretty sure that’s the verse song J-Hope wrote fully himself. Well there is a joke within army that it was decided that V would be part of the rap line but V asked Hobi to switch with him and we got a rough gem that now is a polished jewel which shines brightly on us. =0) I also think V sucked in the beginning. Now he is much better. Years of practice helps. =0p Check out Knox Hill a rapper on here. He is baby Army and is reacting to BTS. He started Cyphers and u learn so much about rap from him. I am a vocal line stan not too deep into rap. And yet I love BTS hip hop songs and adore the rap line too. Go figure! Army thinks Knox Hill is Suga bias because he has a huge ass grin any time Suga raps, lol. It's cute. Supreme Boi I think was part of the original group but decided to just stay on as a staff member/producer. He adores BTS. He is their homie and hype man. I hope u watch the Medley. They looked great. Cypher 1: as it came out during their debut days, their skills in rapping still extremely raw and unrefined compared to today. It feels more like what cyphers were supposed to be. raw, honest, but it was made to show their skills and to make the album feel more "hip hop" Cypher 2&3: as they were both released during the period of time they were struggling as a group, you can feel their "rage" in them. both cyphers feel more like diss tracks aimed at specific targets (haters, prejudice, media, bad critics, etc). I think these tracks fuelled ARMY's even more and some could even relate through the lyrics. not to mention, complicated wordplay's that you can dissect for DAYS Cypher 4: created post-rage period. they have become more mature at this point, and they are showing people that they will no longer deal all the hate against them with rage. while at the same time, they are flexing about where they are today (bigger than the haters) so they will focus more on loving themselves and taking it a stride than waste energy on haters.
