Yup, i may be a movie star wars saga fan, but after i learned more of what is more accurate or what is more making sense to the plot, i find the series better. And look how far clone wars has come. Never watched any seasons but after watching its trailer, got the urge to search this duel. Didnt regret it, it was badass

And praise a badly written TV show just because it belongs to certain IP and is life action (Mandalorian).

Writing level: Mando takes jetpack off despite Grogu is safe in force field, then just forgets his jetpack on the ground for the whole episode and runs to hill by legs, leaves his ship unlocked and opened, goes to fight stormtroopers instead of staying on the hill and protecting Grogu, stormtroopers are so useless they don't shoot to Boba while he beats them with a club, can't step away from a rolling boulder, don't use cannons on their ships, don't shoot at Fennec when they surround her, they can hit only armoured parts of Mandalorian...Why did Moff Gideon send them at all instead of just blasting both ships and sending Dark Troopers?

I will admit that the prequel trilogy had the best duels, but this one is definitely top tier boss level fighting.

Couldn't be more darth maul, there's literally every version here lol (I guess other than his voice actor in phantom menace/solo, Peter Serafinowicz)

Also consider.... she is the only one of only a few who sensed the 'beginnings' of Order 66 (with regard to Anakin) - Yoda then felt it, painfully, with the loss of so many Jedi - Jarol Tepal sensed the disruption to the force, and knew that something was wrong.

They was both right. Anakin did get groomed and destroyed but also did bring balance.

it's almost the same with Dooku, he gave plenty of hints to Obi-Wan. Especially about how he teamed/killed Syfo Dias to make the clone army.

At that point Kenobi wasn't that good. It was time on Tattooine that made him so lethal

@@xdredbruny2 I still think he would have beat Maul again, not in 3 movies probably. But remember when Maul was found by Savage and they basically had to 2v1 Kenobi every time to even stand a chance. When he was fighting Maul and Savage at the same time with 2 lightsabers, he ended up cutting Savage's arm off and kicking his knee in. I think Maul was left behind in terms of skill. If you look at the fight between Maul and Pre Vizsla when he was trying to take over Mandalore, you will notice it took him a way longer time to kill Pre Vizsla, than it did for Kenobi to beat him. I think Maul killing Qui-Gon was that one in ten chance where he got lucky. Especially cause as far as I can remember Maul has not won a duel with another force sensitive since then. Except that one time he dueled Savage to make it clear that he was the master instead of a brother relationship.

Maul is one of the best duelists ever seen. You don't know what you're saying.

Anakin didn't use Soresu like Kenobi did, and Maul wasn't trying to kill Ahsoka here. Anakin wins, probably yeah, but not easily.

@@michaelmyers6155 how is Maul one of the best? What fights did he win against a force sensitive other than Qui-Gon? Only time I can remember him beating someone else in lightsaber combat was against Pre Vizsla but that guy is a mandalorian. Maul is pretty bad imo, he beats some Inquisitors in rebels quite easily but then he just gets thrown off the temple by a blinded Kanan.

Ashoka is a pretty good duelist and one of the best. Especially this young against Maul. Maul’s only big “victory” was Qui-Gon. Plus, Ashoka comes from a great line of duelists: Yoda, Dooku, Qui-Gon, Kenobi and Anakin…

@@skull1161 in the maul book he is known as one of the most elite saber duelist. Even in the book 1 star wars it depicts on how Qui Gon was the first opponent he he couldn't downright outskill. Qui-Gon was the first guy to match all of his blows, and it was one of the infuriating moments of his life. In the 1v2 he never ONCE looked at Obi Wan during their duels. He made sure to keep his eyes LOCKED on Qui Gon. The movie did a great job in showing this particular information as well. He slowly realized that Qui-Gon was slowing down due to his age so he couldn't keep up with the youthful Maul/Obi Wan. He also realized that he would have to use actual strategy(in his perspective underhanded methods) to bring Qui-Gon down. Him killing Qui-Gon was actually very dissatisfying because Maul thought that he had to use underhanded tactics to get the W. Him killing the master filled him with such complacency that was obvious even in the movies. In reality Obi Wan got lucky(plot armor) for Maul was far superior(at that time). Eventually by ep3 Obi Wan becomes top 5 duelist. Yoda, Anakin, Dooku, WIndu, Obi Wan.
