Thank you! I have never been outside of the US. I just obsessed over Spanish lol. I grew up around the corner from my uncle from Medellín, Colombia. He would always have the Latin music blasting. and my aunt (his wife) is like me. she's 100% black, but speaks perfect Spanish. That really inspired me as a kid so I learned. My love for the Dominican Spanish came later in life. I would love to live there, but that will never happen. How about you?

Most of my coworkers are from Puerto Rico, so I notice a lot of the differences, the pronounciation of the letter R can hint at what region of Puerto Rico (and also Brazil) they come from.

I'm actually learning Hebrew, Italian and Portuguese haha. I understand French pretty well, but I hate how it sounds so I don't want to learn to speak it.

I learned French in school so now trying to learn Spanish sometimes I speak it with a French accent. 😜
