This rebuild will be the same process for many different makes and model quads or trikes. Full breakdown and rebuild of the rear brake master cylinder for the 1986 Honda trx250r we are building now.

Guy brought me a 400EX with a Chinese wiring harness and electrical kit that he bought. Only half of it worked. I had to throw the The Handlebar kill switch, wiring harness and solenoid in the garbage and get a real one. My customer got mad at me that is Chinese stuff didn't work. It was the full Chinese experience. But sometimes I don't know what to do like on a YZ250 when OEM carb is 1300.00 and the slides are worn out

You go to 223cycles.net and talk to my boy Curtie he is a kehien and mikuni dealer out of Tennessee. And yeah that chinese stuff sucks sometimes it works most of the time it doesn't

I would personally go with a different set of rear hubs lsr quality has just went down

i try NOT to buy from an enemy of my country when ever i can . oem honda or yamaha or what ever , oem is best . im doing the 400ex spindles with yfz450r front brake calipers and master cylinder . trx450r rear caliper and master cylinder . on my spindles i ground down all of the casting marks and polished them like chrome . im doing the yfz450r brakes on the front for stopping power and because i had the extra parts for my yfz450r race bike . also the trx450r rear parts are left over from when i had a trx450r . also the same with the 400ex spindles , already had them for 20 years 🤣🤣

I did that to the spindles on my 465ex. Smoothed them out, they went black for that quad tho not polished. And yeah I'm not a fan of supporting China at all.
