I still haven't seen any conclusive evidence that the chief was involved. All of the recordings are by the people who we know are guilty. But even IF she didn’t know, she is ultimately responsible for her subordinates actions. If this was just 1 or 2 beat cops, then we’d be holding their supervisors responsible. This is high level supervisors, so we have to hold their supervisors responsible. Her blame shifting and demoting underlings would be appropriate if she also demoted herself or resigned. But she didn’t, she is expecting to go on business as usual because she tossed some scraps to the wolves (her underlings). Too bad cops do not have conscience or honour.
