LOL! There's a reference I thought I'd never hear. Shows you how old Resident Evil is. When RE1 original was released, Tupac was still alive. When Code Veronica was released, the nWo Wolfpack were still a thing in WCW! LOL, This isn't a case of someone in STARS betraying its members. it's the nWo Wolfpack infighting!!! LOL, now bring back the promos where Scott Steiner (Chris Redfield) rips on Ric Flair, who refuses to go away (Just like Wesker, who refuses to go awy from RE games) :)

If I were Capcom, I would think remaking Outbreak, RE1, Code Veronica, and possibly RE 5 along with the RE9 would be the best financial decision. The strong storyline already exists, but tweaking it could improve the chances for a bigger RE 9. If they remake 5, and tweak it just a bit to keep Albert alive, they could have RE9 be another showdown with our favorite Wesker, and possibly throw the franchise into an apocalypse. That would set up a fantastic survival horror experience for future games, instead of trying to beat this dead horse of side villains and heroes.

I completely agree with your logic. My prediction however of how I think capcom will go about it, the 5 games will be (in no particular order): - RE9, which will sadly flop (big budget = bad sign, alike RE6) - RE5, which will hit massively - RE1-3 remaster collection (alike the recent tomb raider collection) - a random spin off game alike RE Resistance (perhaps the RE ‘outrage’ that is quoted) - can’t place the 5th game if so. Could be Code Veronica, RE1, outbreak, revelations 3?

RE1 already has a remake, which was a perfectly good game. I'm somewhat mystified as to why you want another remake of a game people have already played twice. Code Veronica... honestly it was fine already. Outbreak is something that really should be remade but they need to change a lot about it. No more stupidly limited inventories, terrible single player AI, etc. RE5 I just can't be bothered with at all. I wonder why they don't try making the RE4 Beta into a full game. Could be interesting.

@@DGneoseeker1 I understand the argument on RE1, but disagree entirely on CVX and RE5. CVX has great potential and had so many glaring issues that can easily be fixed (voice acting, soft locking, dialogue) RE5 will basically be RE4 remake but with online/local co-op, or a competent AI partner (which was the main issue with the original as Sheva was terrible). The story can be ironed out and made more in line with the modern titles. The ending of RE4 remake heavily implied 5 is next too so that would seem silly to not go down this route at this point. Agree on outbreak though, or a new title that is basically a new version of outbreak. An MMO type game set in raccoon city would be amazing.

TRUST ME, they will botch it. Code Veronica is the MOST misunderstood game, Claire is the most unique female protagonist in all of gaming because of Code Veronica, but sadly, MANY RE fans still ignorantly believe that Code Veronica was about Claire and Chris, where as in reality, it was about Claire and STEVE and how that dynamic ended in tragedy.

@@notafortnitegamer I don't think many will understand what the original did that made the game, and Claire Redfield so unique... Many of them actually want CVX remake because Wesker's in it. This shows how BADLY Capcom messed up. Claire got the attention taken away from her in her own game, where the primary purpose was Claire's character development.

Dusk Golem has always been very reliable, so I guess that's true. As for Resident Evil 9, I believe it will bring together the historical protagonists of the saga and there will be some twist (who knows, maybe Albert Wesker is actually still alive? We'll see). As for the remakes, however, I believe that Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Outbreak are in development, at least for now. I can't wait.

I think the big bad returning is either brandon bailey (umbrella founder and creator of eveline from 7) or a revived spencer or both,since these two have more lore/story connection to the mold/miranda plot point while at the same time the heaviest umbrella bigwigs,not to mention theyre the only two umbrella personnel who had any knowledge of miranda existing,plus theres the whole wesker dyin in a volcano thing cause like if he can survive tht,thn legit nothin can kill him and tht creates a huge story problem

I show in my CVX vs DSC comparison video why this might have been so. Capcom were probably EMBARRASSED by CVX. Capcom tried to run DAMAGE CONTROL for years, as nearly EVERYONE misunderstood what CVX were trying to do. That's why you got that farce garbage in DSC.

I love the over the shoulder view way more than FPS..I always loved RE2 but RE2 remake has to be the best remake of all remakes. It would be awesome if they did the same for RE1 if it was ever remade. Not big on FPS so I wouldn't care if it was included or not. I know a lot of people like it but ehh I like being able to see Jill and Claire from behind.

It's a weakening argument since the 2002 remake will always be there. The demand will soon grow and another RE1 remake in 1st person or 3rd person OTS will sell gangbusters.

You would think a Resident Evil 5 remake would require a longer development cycle than Code Veronica given how massive that game is. It’s more realistic to see a code Veronica remake before RE5.

Not only that, but they just released a fast paced/action style RE game with RE4 so I would assume they would want to slow down the pace a bit and sort of go back to that RE2 remake style of gameplay. I can't wait for a Code Veronica remake, I have beaten the original on multiple different consoles, however I don't really think RE5 needs a remake yet it still looks & plays great. The last time I played it on Steam I even had random people joining my game online it was really cool.

Capcom is most likely working on a number of projects in the Resident Evil series. However, I remind you that many of them may never be released. Many projects may simply be canceled. For example, as was the case with the "leaked" Resident Evil Outrage.

RE4 on the GameCube was my jam. Rented it from Hollywood video and beat it playing it before school every morning and when I got home. RE7 was fantastic and RE8 was as well. Those are my favorites.

I think a really cool concept for a new game would be starting the game on day zero of the outbreak in raccoon city as say something like a fire fighter or citizen with a military background (wherever, doesn’t really matter). But each “level” is the next day of the outbreak and as the infection spreads the game naturally gets harder and the city opens up more and more. By the end you have a hard game (but you’re kitted out) AND you have basically open world access to all of raccoon city. And make a story in there however you would like.

I think the only way they would actively make an Outbreak game in the latest RE engine is by making it and open world raccoon city simulator, where the game is online but only has up to 4 players and has a lengthy campaign instead of 4-6 short stories. even then, i would expect it to be a great great buggy mess until like the 20th patch

They should also make the Hunk game but it needs to 10 X harder than the hardest setting making it possible to complete the game without using any ammo with a stealth aspect to it and i would like the zombies to be dynamic AI so that if you fire a gun, it'll alert zombies from right at the bottom of the area/map or something like that meaning each playthrough is unique and super hard because each of your actions has consequences if you catch my drift

Would love for a Remake of Outbreak including everything from its Expansion File 2 along with possible DLC's to further expand upon the Horror/Mysteries of raccoon city, arklay mountain, and the surrounding areas. I imagine finally witnessing William as a Stalker in certain scenarios, along with Nemi and other T-00's since MrX didn't appear at the Department until after the survivors left it with other officers at the end of "Desperate Times". I also don't think it would be too much to add onto the Unlockables Table the various characters in the series as playable skins since the assets exist in the Engine. If it does well (I don't see why it wouldn't) we could quite possibly get sequels of Other Outbreaks from the franchise or even New ones that haven't been brought up in canon as of yet. And if we were to get a Revelations 3, my hope would be for Rebecca Chambers or another character we haven't seen in a Main/Side title in Forever. Billy, Carlos, Thompson, Bruce, and so many more to list off. (But it would probably go off of popularity, so Rebecca, Billy, Carlos, Jill, and Jake are top contenders for the Rev3 Spotlight)

All of this is great, but I doubt they'll give proper closure to every character that fans care about. At this point I think a set of files showing what people are up to would suffice, kind of like the epilogue of RE3 What I'd like to see most is Jill and Chris teaming up one last time for 9

Inside source says RE9 will be the 1st "Open Map" concept in the series, which is the longer dev time. Wont be quite "Open World", but something smaller in scale, but close to the size of a small town.

In my opinion, CAPCOM definitely has the 'wealth' to do 5 title at once, given how successful their recent titles have been. Since RE9 would be a definitive happenstance, this leaves 4 'slots' open for remake or side-project. My guess would be 2 remake; Code Veronica remake and RE5 remake. The other 2 would be some kind of spinoffs or smaller project; which I would say Outbreak would be in this category. For the last one tho, I'm thinking it would be a title for CAPCOM to explore 'new taste' after RE9; if the reports were to be correct about CAPCOM wants to start a new chapter after RE9. So, to recap; my bet for the 5 games CAPCOM planned would be : - RE9. - Veronica Remake. - RE5 Remake. - Outbreak Remake. - Experimental project. Glad to see CAPCOM still wants to pump out stuff in between of developing RE9. Thanks for the info!

I would guess RE9, RECV remake, RE5 remake, RE Revelations 3, and possibly RE1 remake. Remaking 1, Code Veronica, and 5 would really flesh out Wesker!

They should do RE0, RE1, RE5 and RECV which completes all of the older storylines in modern times. Then RE9 to close out whichever stories.

The Outbreak Series are CRIMINALLY underrated and a remake would be incredible. Outbreak was ahead of it's time when online games were still in their infentcy. This online game would be awesome nowdays

Code Veronica then RE5 would be best in the eyes of remakes as it follows the storyline and would help elaborate the story and be more appealing for modern fans and players. For new additions to the series, a lot is expected of RE9 and though nothing is confirmed, I do hope it begins and ends a new arc for different characters and the franchise in general.

I think we are getting another RE1 remake for the 30th Anniversary of the series, followed shortly after by an RE 0 remake. After that I think we’ll get Code Veronica, 5 then 6.

Was just so happy to see my fav Albert Wesker back in RE4R. Would love to see him survive RE5 (if it's remade) and beyond, even if they move his character into a shadowy figure role again. Hoping to see Jill get to be a main playable character too.

Of course they should make resident evil code Veronica before RE 5 remake. The other possibility could be resident evil Revelations 3. They could possibly remake the outbreak series dead aim surviver darkside chronicles and umbrella conspiracies. Or they could be making new side stories with new and old characters in the RE series.

Honestly they should go back further than Code Veronica if they want to reintroduce Wesker. They should do a Resident Evil: Beginnings game. Have it be resident evil 0 and 1 with 0 leading straight up into 1. Tie up some loose ends story wise, then release a Veronica after that. I don't think there should be a re5 remake for several years. Although I did just play it the other night and it definitely is rougher than I remember it being

Hope for a return as for me re8 was moving to far way from its roots. Would love remakes for Veronica, 0, 1, Survivor and those fps from ps1 era. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT CUT CONTENT FROM THE REMAKES LIKE RE3. They would win big with fans if they uodate re3 with the missing content and add more to future remakes to expand lore.

I’d love to see outbreak return! Also growing up RE5 was my favourite (it was my first RE game but I loved it so much I went back and played the others) so I’d love to see that remade with the new engine. Code Veronica would be great too!
