Is it possible to resin cast parts for radio-controlled helicopters?
Here I try reproducing obsolete spare parts for my well-loved Thunder Tiger e325 Mini Titan.
Producing a two-piece mould and casting with polyurethane resin.
Materials used :
CS25 Condensation cure silicone mould
Xencast P6 toughened polyurethane resin
Milled carbon fibre filler
(Purchased from easycomposites.co.uk)
We follow the process step by step, discuss some of the challenges then get some parts fitted into the e325.
