This is my long and in-depth review of Star Wars Episode VI- Return of the Jedi (1983). While Return of the Jedi may not be perfect by any means, I believe it is vastly underrated and misunderstood. A lot of the "issues" people have with the film are not really issues. In actuality, they are just complete misunderstandings. During this review, I will address the most common criticisms I hear about Return of the Jedi across the internet. If the criticisms are full of nonsense, then I will debunk them, but if they aren't and are actually true, then I will discuss why that is. I hope you enjoy the video!

I know I said this in the video, but I have a feeling I'm gonna see comments about it, me criticizing George Lucas, Revenge of the Sith, and the Special Editions is all in good fun and it's not meant to offend anyone lol. Just have fun with it. It's supposed to make you laugh.

The Saga!!!! What a perfect ending. ROTJ is very nostalgic for me and because of the perfect ending is my 2nd favorite Star Wars movie.

*Star Wars: Epiosde VI - Return of The Jedi* is up there with *Fast and Furious 7, Avengers Endgame, and Toy Story 3* as one of the best finales to any story I have ever seen

ROTJ was my introduction to Star Wars as a kid so it will always hold a special place in my heart. Excellent job on the video!

The dialogue between Vader and Palpatine makes perfect sense if you read between the lines. Vader asks "You said I killed my wife before she gave birth, you liar"! Palpatine: "Shut up, I know you knew already and I know you want to recruit him!"

Yay you uploaded, also unpopular opinion: I prefer watching the original trilogy with the special edition versions. Only because effects and CGI were good at the time but by today’s standards it hasn’t aged well, but yeah some other changes they put were unnecessary. Just my opinion plz don’t kill me 👉👈🥺

Anakin had nightmares repeatedly and at this point was desperate to any source of knowledge, since Jedi didn't provide it.

As far as Harrison Ford's relationship with Star Wars. It's true that he did enjoy working on A New Hope, but it's also true that it was the only Star Wars film enjoyed working on. After Star Wars blew up in the 70s he started get cynical with Star Wars. (some say it was the Holiday Special that did it, but that's just a theory). But he did not enjoy working on Empire and Jedi all that much. He demanded that his pay be increased for each film as a result too.

No, ROTS is objectively better than ROTJ. Luke's plan and rebels plan on Endor don't make much sense and Anakin's turn makes perfect sense. I list: Anakin lost a mother whom he could not visit because of the rules of the Jedi, even then he destroyed the Tuskens and ceased to trust the order. The Chancellor always treated him well and encouraged his ambitions. Further, he angrily killed the unarmed Dooku, breaking the code, was not given the title of master and was forced to spy on the chancellor, was not allowed to battle with Grievous, he saw Padme die, as he did with his mother, and Palpy promised to save her, plus promised strength, power and immortality, he was jealous of Obi-Wan, while Windu wanted to kill unarmed Palpy before his eyes, although the head of the Jedi himself ... Well, when Windu slammed, there was no turning back, only to complete the work of the empire.

It is the final movie as far as most true fans are concerned & Heir To The Empire is the true sequel timeline the sequels are infinities set in a alternate universe or timeline they don't exist

so Kraemer what’s your thoughts on zootopia (& it’s anthology series on Disney+) you know a Disney movie with actual character development worldbuilding a good villain better story and writing better than rian “Roundhead” Johnson’s & jar jar Abrams’s writing (jar jar isn’t even that bad let’s honest) & also what’s wrong with ANDOR series I thought that in one of your comparison videos you said that ANDOR has real director this time then in the kenobi show

I’ve never seen Zootopia, not my type of movie lol. Andor has a real director, but I still don’t like the show at all. The writing is good (probably better than anything in Disney Star Wars) but the show feels like a generic sci-fi show, doesn’t feel like Star Wars to me at all. Can’t really explain why…. It just feels off.

I find the special edition section of this video to be a little unnecessary. Star Wars is George Lucas and always will be his. If you don’t like his changes that’s fine but you don’t have to make a mountain out of molehills. 😁

Unpopular opinion this is my favorite Star Wars movie. I like The Ewoks, Luke And Leia Being Siblings and I'm glad Leia got together with Han, And Boba Fett's Death. Sue Me. Yep, unlike the vocal minority I like it better than ANH & TESB. I love ANH but it's my least favorite of the OT. I love TESB and it's my second favorite Star Wars by default but I don't think TESB is perfect and I find it it to be a tad overrated.
