Updates are bs, my sries x is sitting in puic storage and i played it 5 times. I do most gaming on my phone,but really busy working,not much time for games. The updates are nearly evertime you start the console,waste of time and harddrive space.

I have both and both my PS5 and my Xbox Series have 120 hz support it had 120 hz at launch, yes the VRR and the 1440p were added later, and it still does not have dolby vision but I use HDR 10 but I agree PS should add Dolby vision I like both systems and I play them both.

Yeah I bought a 54”😂 with all the freakin buttons and whistles for gaming. Same as you. Not as clear as 32 but nothing like having war life size in your room. 😂

PlayStation has had this since the PS3 and it's rarely used, even in their own games. It'd be great if it became more standard.

If going from $60 to $70 dollars is expensive to you I suggest getting your life together, there’s always been price increases. When we went from PS2 and Xbox to PS3 to 360 games went from $49.99 to 59.99 wasn’t a word said back then

I'm not saying what we have now is too much I'm just saying I wouldn't want the jump if there is one to go past $10. Would you want to pay lets say $100 a game? Also I don't think game consoles should go all digital in the future because that would mean if you don't the internet you don't have your games even if you purchased it.

Not to mention u can get a Series X for way less then $500 now…my buddy got his right after Black Friday like 2 weeks before last Xmas from Walmart and it was $375 for the D4 bundle one

Once they hit $100 i might have some major issues. $60-$70 providing its a good game and available on Gamepass for a time. I won't complain to much just yet.

But if you want to get all launch content you'll have to buy the "giga ween blaster 9000" edition for $100-$130

It didn’t drive sales because it wasn’t faithful to Halo. Paramount+ is available in countries where Halo has its largest fan bases, the show is just bad. Chief has no business taking his helmet off and focusing on getting women 🤣

Also the paramount app is crap freezes constantly or crashes. But Netflix amazon and max work fine.

@@mlvnjonathan you sign up for gamepass and then use the app on your phone... some games have touch controllers but I personally hate them so I bring a normal controller and bluetooth it instead. Works perfectly for me on my breaks at work.

You can do mods the exact same way on steamdeck as on PC, you just have to switch to desktop mode. If you want to use a mod organizer like Vortex, you just have to install it through lutris and do a couple other things. Just do a search, plenty of guides on YT for modding on steam deck.

Cyberpunk is locked on 30fps for 4K gameplay. You can throw as much power as you want at it, it’ll still perform like crap.

There are 13 different graphics cards that can run Cyberpunk at 4k over 30fps on Ultra settings(which is, as with all games, well beyond the point of diminishing returns) bump it down to high with negligible noticeable difference visually and most of those 13 cards will be around 60 or above for 4090/4080/7900xtx. Cyberpunk may be the most visually complex, detailed, and expansive game ever made to this point, so this really shouldn't be a surprise. It has become the showcase game for Nvidia, so it makes sense that they push the game to the absolute limit of their available cards.

I am always a little head of the times and Pc handheld and Nintendo is where it is at. We are waiting for an Xbox handheld with pc capabilities and a new Nintendo. The Ps exclusives bore me …. But kids 13 through 41 like them

Pointless. 8k is for like 100" tv's or if you want to zoom in on a face in a scene of everyone in the stadium. But otherwise, doesnt do anything for gaming.

consoles are always outdated by the time they release. if you want to stay up to date then just buy/build a pc.

@@LCJammer PCs are so inefficient having to compile shaders and having so much variety. All of these PC gamers spend all of that $ for the sake of running their games better. You don't need much power to do online banking or look at KZfaq. Having a few very powerful console variants would be much better for gaming, rather than literally thousands of combinations of PCs. I'm old enough to remember when PC wasn't always the most powerful thing, that was custom arcade hardware. (1980's into mid 90's) The most efficient thing would be for people to keep an old laptop or POS PC around for "work", then have powerful game consoles to game on. These consoles could play existing PC games but also games that are made just for them. People are too short sighted to let this happen though.

@@RangerZero45 yeah that’s a part of it for sure but it’s the thumbstick modules for me. With PlayStation they say it’s 70g of stick tension but with the thumbsticks they have themselves they seem to just snap back into place and feel way more reactive to what I’m doing with my thumb. The Xbox sticks feel like they’re going everywhere and not where I want which is partially due to their stick tension of 55g. If I could find someone to solder or learn how to I would replace the Xbox stick modules with the ps4 modules in a heartbeat.

6 hour battery life on the PS controllers is a non-starter for me
