I just bought the same 200 Limited in this video but it’s maroon about a month ago and I am IN LOVE with it. Gorgeous exterior styling, I too, REALLY like the dash cluster. That design looks very premium. The storage solutions in this car are also super convenient, you can tell they took time to consider how they were going to do that. Sound system sounds great, my speakers have never sounded distorted and another thing-it has subwoofer quality bass, and even with all the bass, you don’t hear a single thing rattling, vibrating, etc. my 200 sounds wayyyyyy better than the Infiniti I had with the Bose system. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this car.

I love this channel, the photography, the music and the reviews and you, yourself are a nice person but, and I know it's hard to get nice cars to review, the cars that are being reviewed aren't really that enthusiast orientated and I'm aware there's people that will watch these reviews to see what a normal sort of car is like cause not everyone can afford a flame spitting Evo however the majority of your viewers are watching this to see unique content and get a taste of what awesome cars are like to drive and I feel that hasn't really been happening with your reviews recently and this channel might not be in my top ten KZfaq channels anymore. Thank you for producing the content, the videos themselves are great but the cars in them have started being very dull and dreary, I'll still always be a big fan of yours. :)

Thank you for your honest feedback. I'm just starting out with press cars so the first few weren't the hottest. But have patience, the list of cars I have lined up for the rest of the year is awesome. 420 hp Cadillac CTS V-Sport review next week, Chevy SS manual the week after that, and then I'm traveling all around reviewing lots of loud, fast and exciting cars, including some exotics. Trust me, 4 door family sedans aren't my first choice either but this is the last "ordinary" car I'll review for a while.

Last time I wrote that you needed to elaborate more when it comes to the negative aspects on the vehicles you were reviewing. This review truly seemed unbiased (well as unbiased as you can possibly be when being provided a press car). You did a fantastic job with a car that is aesthetically pleasing but is pretty much known to under perform. Keep up the great work.

Matt you would definitely like the V6 a lot better and I'm surprised Chrysler didn't give you one as a tester. At just shy of 300 hp, it hauls a lot more ass both from a stop and at highway speeds. Especially with AWD, it does a great job of putting the power down. Take one for a drive if you get the chance, you'll be more impressed for sure.

Good review. It is a good looking car and comfortable. But I have to agree, the 2.4 liter is slow and better in the Dart than the heavier 200. The 2.4 C I test drove was just, ok if you just want something nice but aren't worried about quick pickup and go. I ended up getting the 3.6 liter in my C and it's a much more enjoyable car. Chrysler recently updated the transmission software and it works nicely. I dare to even say as nice as the TLX v6 with it's ZF 9 speed. By the way, the ZF 9 speed in the v6 versions of the 200 is sourced from ZF, where as the 9 speed in the 4 cylinder version is produced by Chrysler but designed by ZF. Strange to hear that you got the same kind of gas mileage in that 4 cylinder that I get in my 6 cylinder. I typically receive around 21mpg's in city (except during really cold winters, it does dip down to as low as 18.5 mpg's). Highway I've had mine as far as 35mpg's. It was a reach for me to go back to Chrysler, was burned by a Dodge Intrepid in the mid 90's. But this is a different car from back then. So far appears to be better quality and something that I'm feeling confident with keeping for a while. Well....buying a warranty package also boosted that confidence. What can I say, I'm not entirely trusting of any car manufacturers anymore. Traded off a 2012 Outback for this, feeling burned off that car as well.

very good review of this car and despite what is said these cars gets excellent fuel mileage and has good throttle response but it all depends on the drivers skills and how you drive them..I know this because I happen to own one and I average 33 mpg with a mix of city/highway driving but it goes down if you are driving in the city the worst I got was 24 mpg in strictly city driving...I love the fact of how sporty the interior feels and the ample storage spaces are a bonus..Only complaints is they don't hold their value very well and they should include with the limited models leather/heated seats and a sunroof and navigation so the owner can get the best bang for the buck but even without those features the limited does have a luxury car feel and I get a lot of compliments on my 2015 chrysler 200 limited in velvet red pearl...so far I have gotten 9200 miles on mine and love everything except for the value thing...

21.7 MPG was your city mileage? You must have been REALLY thrashing it! I rented this same vehicle to drive from Texas to Indiana and was REALLY impressed with the Gas Mileage and it seemed to only improve the more I drove it. The 9 speed transmission REALLY keeps the RPMs down. They should have given you the V6 since you already had the same engine in the Dart. ;-)

Everybody seems to have the "I hate FCA because everybody else does" opinion. A bunch of clueless people who don't even try to understand the car. My whole family owns FCA products and getting over 200k miles is not an issue at all. There are minor problems along the way just like every other car in existence but nothing major. My only complaint with Chrysler is the crappy service departments. The fact that people look at it and say "Nope its a Fiat product" is just ignorant. Chrysler has improved BECAUSE of Fiat. Over seas Fiat has proven to be one of the most reliable brands. Every American car manufacturer is losing quality because of production moving to Mexico. It's quite sad really but somehow Chrysler is targeted the most out of the US brands. Ford and Chevrolet are far from an improvement.

test drove the awd for a wifemobile. I was amazed at how slow they can make "300 hp". I think its a great looking car. Base models and fwd models seem like a good deal for a non enthusiast that wants a great looking car for cheap. The $30k awd models start to lose some appeal of youre looking for options.

Anyway, I'm getting ready to buy a used one and I'm getting it for a REALLY good price. 1 owner. Thanks for your review and for not being so harsh. It's not supossed to be a BMW... it's a Chrysler. I think your reviews make even the ordinary cars interesting, and variety is always nice. Too many exotics would not be interesting either. The vast majority of people will never see, much less ever drive a Bugatti. Like another viewer mentioned most people have more than one car, maybe a truck for whatever, an suv for driving the kids around and getting groceries or whatever, and a sporty car or luxury car for the weekends. So seeing a wide range of cars doesn't bother me either. That doesn't mean I don't want to see some crazy exotics either, but not all the time.

***** Yeah it was just not fun to drive whatsoever. My regular car is a Kia Forte with a 6 speed manual and I like it way better than this Chrysler in terms of driving dynamics (the audio system is way better than my Kia though). 9 speeds sounds good on paper until you take into account the shitty computer and the fact that it can't really settle on a gear.

The engine sounds noisy and kind of anemic. Not a huge fan of the knob shifter or the electric parking brake that will sure foul up in Winter areas that use salt. Also there have been loads of complaints regarding the 9 speed too many gear transmission.

exterior style is very nice, interior and guages look very nice. dont like the gear selector. 27k for the anemic 2.4, nah. It mostly seems to offer a nicely styled classy looking exterior. Im 50 but I would take a hyundai sport which in base trim is 5k less with really nice leather seats and much more fun to drive without being harsh. Perhaps you give up a little space , quietness and the floaty luxury ride. This definately seems like a car for non enthusiasts who just like a car that has a kind of classy appearence for relatively low money. I imagine if you like this car you just wait until chyrsler gets stuck with a bunch and discount them like 3-5 k with crazy factory and dealer incentives at years end. If you pay anywhere near sticker for one, me thinks your crazy. Needs fat discount to choose over other cars. Also, the gutless 2.4 which has to scream to move really takes away any illusion of a luxury car. Does look nice though.

You should try to drive a v6 version trust me it's actually a pretty quick basic car

I Don't know why they gave you the v4 version. I want power! I'll check out the v6, and if that's not enough then i'll look elsewhere. Love the way the car looks though.

I love your videos and in-depth detailed opinions, but I do have some constructive critcism for you. You try to delve into the positives and negatives, but compared to some other reviewers (MotorTrend, autoblog, Chris Harris, etc.) you seem to be highlighting the positives. This is fine, but you sort of shrug off the negatives. For example, when talking about something bad you always say "But you know.." and state something positive again. I wish you would be more assertive and on-point with the negative criticism you find to give both us (the viewers) and the car company some good- and beefy negatives to work with/on. Second, I wish to have seen the car being driven from other angles than this particular one (note: inside the cabin, not outside). With this I mean more camera angles - very simple. Just telling you what I think - nothing personal!

But.... it's a Chrysler. ... "Good looking" is one of the last attributes/characteristics that I would be looking at for a daily driver. I plan to drive my Honda to 400,000 miles before replacing it.

Touchy gas pedal. I would have preferred an option to the black ( vacuum every day ) interior. On the plus side, beautiful car, best FCA car that I've ever owned. FCA cancelled the latest 200 after 2 years of production to produce more Ram trucks. In my estimation , FCA lost a fortune in changing the tooling of the 200. A two -year car! It's business. Chrysler can make as many pickups as they want for far more profit than they were getting for the 200's. As far as product, FCA has nothing to offer me.

This car is letdown by its powertrain, the transmission is constantly shifting and is always in the wrong gear for what you are doing while the engine sounds and feels agricultural, it doesn't feel or sound like it will last more then 80k-100k miles regardless of how you maintain it.
