Another fix is change the chain tensioner for a genuine husky tensioner it has the holes for it and you don’t get the little gears strip out. It’s a drag tensioner rather than a push ..

I have huskies stills ryobies but best saw is the buamr the giant is crap but all you need to do is change the chain tensioner on this saw and it’s a good saw

These chainsaws are great for someone that cuts seasonal firewood for themselves like anything you can't expect to abuse it and it lasts forever. Im sure a professional would kill it in no time but thats not who they are targeted for

I got a sx45 model and its been 3 years. General maintenance etc but has paid for itself . Currently own a ms211c / ms311 , husky 236e / 450e II

Never buy this brand bought one from EBay only work for one day second time didn't cut at all chain was blunt, and eBay not replying to my email

The chain does go blunt especially cutting trees that have been dead for a while will blunt quicker.
