I love the "sound effects" with screaming and wailing when Alexander moved some Italian troops at 16:39 onwards from Rome to the north. Excellent timing. We love your work, and all that you do for us.

Yay for throwing 2D6. Yay for high rolls are good. Makes rolling the dice much more fun. Yeah I know that might seem shallow for a serious wargame but it's the kind of thing that helps me get the wife or my non-mil-hist friends to play. Thanks for the review this looks great.

How would you compare this to At All Costs! and The Lamps are Going Out? The combat seems to be better in Imperial Tide though as I prefer combat charts with relative damage instead of pure dice rolling, but maybe there are other qualities in the other ones that make them better overall?

Verrryy interesting review. If there comes a future video after ya'll played through PoG i'd love to hear your thoughts on this compared to it. Now I know they aren't 1;1 analogue but I definitely see similarities that are just fun to discuss from a design point of view.

Grant wins the shirt award ,for once, with his urban camouflage. I love WW1 games, trying so hard not to buy this. I must go look in my closet at all the unplayed WW1 games. Keep up the good work gents.

Looks and sounds so much like Paths of Glory (card-driven, point-to-point, simultaneous combat system) but less complexity. For someone who really enjoys Paths of Glory, it seems just to similar to justify another purchase.

I'm interested.
