Glad to hear - definitely did nothing for me to justify the price tag, although I did mention the smoother action of the rollers. Just a note that the V1 would definitely cover the Les Paul logo so not entirely sure I agree that it solves that particular issue

@@HowToPlayGuitarLikeABoss the V1 replaces the TRUSS ROD COVER, so no, it doesn’t cover any logos. The V3 (like the one you reviewed, does). Make sure your nut is lubricated, remember that friction is our enemy too. I’d recommend you giving it another try, like I said, for me and most guitarists I know that own Les Pauls here in Peru where I live, use the String Butler and we all agree on how it took away that G-String nightmare hehe

@@leovan83 I wouldn’t want to cover the truss rod either - that would remove the word “standard” fro the Les Paul I play. Like I say, the guitar went out of tune just as quickly as without the string butler, and it doesn’t affect either E string, I don’t think it’s worth the money

@@HowToPlayGuitarLikeABoss to each it’s own my brother, in my case and many other guitarists I know, the thing truly works. About the truss rod, sure, I understand, I wouldn’t do it to a very soecial guitar (vintage, limited edition, collector piece, etc) of course, however, since I now think of guitars as “tools” to make music, I can live with that sacrifice in exchange of tuning stability, specially in a studio environment (or live too).

If I were you and you were doing proper reviews I'd be embarrassed as you did not pick up on the fact that you're not slots aren't straight. A basic understanding of mathematics would help and also the recommendation that it gets set up by a proper guitar tech would have told you that you're not slots are not optimum for this product to work. Anyways I wish you the best of luck but I'll not be following any of your reviews and definitely guitar lessons. I would actually be embarrassed to put a review of like this not fully understand how the product works and the prerequisites that are required for this product to work properly. Terrible review

@@mandjzi Modeled it myself. It's not that difficult and I have zero training in 3D modeling. The posts are made from metal fasteners from my tool box. You could use small screws or something.
