@@Nobody13906 we did some research and found out that clear nail polish kills it on contact so we used that and I also brought the cream for ringworms and they cleared up entirely about a week later

I was the same panic situation . My cat has but most of the video are horrible. Only that video makes me calm My vet gave me the antifungal shampoo three tines a week Hope so she will better. Dont worry you are earning reward from Allah as looking after cat.

If you mean pet safe wet wipes then no, it won't remove spores. It can help clean the area before applying the treatment but if you use the same wipe on another animal, it will spread the spores. Same with brushing, if you don't disinfect the brush between animals, the spores will spread quicker. I've fostered several kittens and I can attest to pet wet wipes not solving the problem. For mild cases I used Banixx spray three times a day to get rid of the ringworm. Wear gloves, spray the spot and rub it in good. There were some cases where I needed to use the lime sulfur dip. But instead of dipping I used a sprayer and disposable gloves instead of dunking the cat into the dip. Used sponge for head and ears.

I'd like to add....."Sulfer" from the hardware store mixed with warm (so it's more comfortable for the kitties) and dip the kitty in this solution....be careful not to get in their eyes. Then bundle them into a fluffy to get excess solution off. Then allow them to "air" dry. Do this every three days. I do three dip sessions. It is INCREDIBLY effective safe and will put an end to the issue. No messing with cream....it's a once and done. Three dips.

Is it possible to put the Sulphur solution on a spray bottle to soak him?

I've got it and so does my son, we adopted a minuet kitten (miniature dwarf cat) and he had scabs on his neck, next thing we knew my older indoor cat lost some hair so I'm treating 3 humans and 5 animals right now! lol. It's not that bad, the rash.

@@paulasarceno644 I did lime sulfer dips and used ointments on myself. I was giving a topical cream to use everyday on my kittens and dogs and it went away. Something I didn't expect was for my cats to shed like crazy from the lime sulfur dip baths I gave them, that stuff is true gold in combating this. Vacuuming everyday was the worst of it.

What did you do to cure your scalp? I think I have the same thing. I hope you and your cat are all done and over it now and doing well!

@@bekind7332 it’s still so itchy my scalp abs I have hairloss , I’m using sulphur 8 shampoo and I add 10 drops or more tea tea oil and wash scalp and body twice . Second time I leave on 10 minutes abs rinse . I’m also washing my sheets pillow cover daily with Borox , laundry detergent and tea tree oil . 10 drops I soak it in hot water before washing . This is so terrible pray it goes away . I’ve booked an appointment with my dermatologist too. 😣

Did you get your cat from the streets? Or is your cat vaccinated

Monistat 3 is stronger and only enough for 3 days. Monistat 7 is less potent but enough for 7 days and probably cheaper.

I can relate!! I sleep with Both my cat Everynight! And now, i saw a circle with no hair yasterday. And i freaked out!! They say to isolate the cat amd blablabla... My cat is a rescue cat, and was suffering from severe anxiety. And i been able to remove it to 75%. But, now.. i didn't been able to late him in a room alone. He cry and panick! I can't blame him, he don't understand why I don't want to touch him, pet him, cuddle him and sleep same bed. 1 day and i can already see how much it affect him. My other cat have no symptoms, but apparently other animals can have it without symptoms same for human. Apparently our defense immune system can deal with the virus? I heard. Anyway, am at the point i dont even know where to start. I start the cleaning and disinfect. And i was thinking Vet! But, with covid-19... my budget is really Low!!!! Don't even know if i can afford it. ((Without be sure it ringworm. Because if i bring him and it end up being just a irritation and would have been ok. It's 600$less for me. Am so Glsd the lady did this amazing video. I am still really worry. But, atless i can see it differently. And more able to approach the situation calmly. Take cat to vet to get oral medicine for ringworm. I’ve read you need to also lime sulfur dip your cat every 5-7 days using a new unused 5 gallon paint bucket might help or square plastic box that fits into sink or put in shower (only use water to dilute mixture according to instructions and then at end to clean up, it is very yellow and smells. Don’t get the lime sulfur dip into their eyes but should use a sponge to make sure you get all the fur on nose, ear etc. The lime sulfur dip needs to be diluted so have clean large bowl and I used a measure cup to pour it onto cat. Or dip cat into and use sponge to thoroughly get into all fur everywhere except careful not to get into eyes. One video I watched had a bottle of eye rinse available next to sink in case needed. Get all their hair wet, down to the skin. Don’t dry, the longer on skin snd fur the better, it will dry naturally. I used a plastic pet carrier to transfer from sink to quarantine bathroom. Put kitty in clean bathroom with disposable litter box, new clean bowls food and water, and towels. Every day put a put a cream on ringworm sore, ask your vet what is best or maybe try what this video says. I also found sulfur dip cream on Amazon that seems to be helping and there are disinfected anti-fungal pads to clean wounds and sores on pets that I hear work. Also good to get a paper towel wet with anti-fungal pet spray and pet their fur with damp paper towel. Meanwhile you have to thoroughly clean your house of all fur to get rid of spores. Use sponge mop and a product like Sniper that is antifungal on mop onto floors, walls and someone said ceilings too. Get carpeting steam cleaned, dry method is best but either is better than nothing. Throw out cat scratching posts as they are super difficult to thoroughly clean. Look up antifungal on Amazon and chewy for more product ideas and then under questions enter word ringworm and you can see any question or any comment made about ringworm and what people thought about that product. I found a cleaning company that fumigates a fine mist spray everywhere, they use it to clean homes and classrooms of covid, so I’m trying that too. Sunlight supposedly kills ringworm spores, I’m not sure about that, but they have places that bring UV lights to kill covid, it may work on ringworm you could ask. So while your cat is quarantined and you clean your cats environment every couple days, keep using Clorox wipes and cleaning around your home, disinfect all vacuum filters or replace filters, replace your home. furnace filters. Watch KZfaq videos on how to rid house of ringworm, ask vet, search internet. Most important I’ve read is to do both a lime sulfur dip every 5-7 days on cat, and prescription oral antifungal medicine. Try getting a cream or something on cat sores. Clean their quarantine area every day, and more thoroughly every other days, wash the towels your cat lays on in the bathroom by adding some borax along with detergent to the washing machine. Can take 3-6 weeks or longer. Once cat is clear of all ringworm sores then can take to vet for PCR test. That is important to help prevent your cat from getting reinfected and having you or your cat going through this again. Do not let your cat outside that is were cats can get ringworm or get reinfected, plus it’s good not to infect wild animals or stray cats. Need to continue to use antifungal like I think 409 is, around the house and keep fur cleaned up. Spores can live up to 18 months and can reinfect your cat so get rid of much as possible. Wash fabrics such as curtains, couch and chair cushion covers, use tape to pick up as much fur as possible on sides and backs of couch, curtains that can’t be washed. . Cats seem to be more susceptible under stress, or have health issues, so try to give them lots of love and care to heal quickly and to continue to stay ringworm free. For yourself consider using tea tree shampoo, maybe spray antifungal on your comb and brush each day before use and best to see your doctor or dermatologist. I don’t know, I’m not a doctor but this is information I heard from a rescue, product reviews, videos and websites. So keep doing research and truly this is an important enough problem to see vet and dr, so please go see them. Let us know how it goes and what worked well for you you and your cat. Wishing you all the best during this stressful time, just work hard at it cleaning thoroughly for a few weeks or so and get through this, you can do it!

We rescued a street kitten, kept her separate and found out she had ringworm when she went in for her shots. 30 day quarantine, advised to change bedding twice a day, clean the room daily. I was washing everything I could. I got it from her, took weeks to clear up with a prescription anti fungal after the OTC one made it worse. Yesterday, now weeks later, the rash on my arm came back. Noooo! Ordering a black light today so I can check all our cats. It is such a pain to thoroughly eliminate.
