I thought they had recone kits for that. I have a similar xfl 15" turd that needs a new recone kit on it. I also had an old xfl that I took apart in one pice and put it back together and its now working in my room. My room has a very good amplifier in it. Its a Hifonics BRX2000.1D.

its a v1 of the new style with 3in coil blue basket is v2 just a 3 1/4 coil but most returned sub next to xfl the old split basket were built better, not a bad sub for a cookie cutter design or rip off like bob is known for plus most new heavy subs like xmax used a clear glue that suck and fail at 4k sad oh yeah he changes every 4 monthes to cancel warranty on the last hes that cheap i bought an amp b4 i worked there failed a month later after he said year warranty and wouldnt honor it tried getting me to buy a shitter amp of his, oh yeah the st45 out performs the comp2k for half the price dudes an idiot
