Wasn't hardrock a bit bluesy in the beginning? It just got a bad name due to hairmetal in the 80s 😂 Once the big record execs smell money, music genres get ridiculized for the masses... from rock to new wave, and electronic to hiphop and latin. These execs never fail to ruin a genre with their greedyness 😢

Hard to believe you haven’t reacted to ‘In My Time of Dying’ by LZ from their Physical Graffiti album. It’s a 1920’s gospel/blues song that the band does in their heavy blues style. Bonham’s drums are some of his heaviest with band. If you do check it out let it play ALL the way to the end and you’ll hear a funny surprise ending of what occurred in the actual studio recording of this song. 😉

This made me so happy. Can I give 10 thumbs up? I've been wanting you to react to this song for awhile. I'm sure I have suggested it at least once or twice. What I have always loved about this song is the instrumentals. John Paul Jones on organ, followed by Plant on harmonica, and then Jimmy page on guitar back to back to back. Throw in Plant's vocal gymnastics, Bonham's steady drums, and that cool echo effect that gives a haunting feel to the song and you just can't help but love every second of it. A fun song you haven't tried from them yet is Custard Pie. Jimmy has some cool guitar effects and Plant tears it up on harmonica.

As an old album junkie (meaning you start the needle at the beginning and don't pick it up to the end) I'm always jarred a bit at the end of this song in reactions because the base doesn't stop at the end but slides right into dazed and confused. If there were any additional instruments like keyboards, organ, mandolin, or bass... it was John Paul Jones... He was multi-talented weapon in Led Zeppelin. He was a highly schooled musician and was already an established composer/ arranger in the 60's before he joined Zeppelin... The band's studio engineers said that John Bonham & John Paul Jones were the best rhythm section they had recorded... Led Zeppelin's bass and drums were usually done in 1 or 2 takes (which is unreal even today).

You would be blown away by a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog" by John Farnham. It was used as a vocal warm up before his shows. Incredible to listen to.

John Paul Jones (JPJ) on keyboards and bass, Robert Plant on harmonica lead vocals, John Bonham (RIP) on drums, and Jimmy Page on guitars.

This song rolls right into "Dazed and Confused" on the album, and it is almost Painful to not hear it follow! "Dazed and Confused" was Zeppelin's encore song and ciuld go on for 15 to 20 minutes!

Wow! Incredible piece of music! LZ can do almost anything. This would be one of my favorite songs by them except for the fact that it is one their first album, and everything on that album is one of my favorite songs! For something quite different from them that you would never expect I'd recomend the "Rain Song." The guitar of Page and the voice of Plant will take you to tears. I swear it. Wow! You guys are now fast approaching a hilf mil subscribers - WELL DONE! I love your channel. Keep up the great work. Take care! Amber, you are a hippie iin your soul girl. Don't ever change. I am not religious, but I do admire your gentleness in making all of us aware of our connections to eachother and that together we can find the peace that God most likely intended for us. Please keep that up as well. Have a great day you two!

The pace is so sloooowwwwww gotta love it. WIth a unmistakable Zeppelin flavor. For another great blues song from a great band, "Need Your Love So Bad" by Fleetwood Mac featuring Peter Green.

That reverberated A note at the end of the call and response might be the most powerful note ever recorded. This song really shows the talents of Led Zeppelin. JPJ's organ solo, Robert's harmonica solo and Jimmy's guitar solo should be taught in music classes until the end of time. Great reaction!!!!

Speaking of comments, I hope you find this one. Little Feat, "Spanish Moon" from Waiting for Columbus. Been waiting for years. One of the best live albums ever. Featuring the horn section from "Tower of Power". Too much good stuff to list it all here, just trust me.
