Can you imagine what this baby went through. A belt being used on a 2 year old baby. She put her little arms up in a protective response to avoid being hit, and her ulna was fractured. This baby was tortured. This is a heinous crime ongoing for 4 months.

kathi smith I grew during a time when it was ok to hit your kids, my mom used a belt; she would spank me 1-2 times with my pants/shorts on this is when I was little & spanking would work. Never once did it leave a mark. You would have to hit hard to leave lasting marks & multiple times, whenever I heard about children being abused like this is makes me sick because even a spanking hurt I can’t imagine how rejected & alone this little girl felt.

I believe she also had fractured ribs, comvines with the broken leg and arm, and the pancreas completely bisected, severe bruising the entire length of the back and chest plus bruising the entire pelvic region.... and breaking a toddlers bones takes tremendous force because their bones are pliable. The ME stated she had so many head wounds she had to shave poor lailas head to document them all and when she was doing the autopsy, during the procedure that checks the brain, her head wounds went completely through to the underside of her scalp. She had also lost a large amount of weight in those 4 months, so she was literally tortured.

Does anyone else pick up on the fact that Jennifer and the children’s mother shared the same foster carer when they were young, and both in care. Something happened here. It seems to have stuck in the crop with Jennifer, who plotted and planned, via a judge and other professionals she met during her time of study and internship as a lawyer, to get these children placed with her. It seems this may be a revenge crime. Remember when she mentioned the fact that they were placed with her was “karma”. Totally weird thing to say......

@traceonthecase
@traceonthecase 5 жыл бұрын
@@dawnisles6363 I think so too. I think she would have abused bio children. I mean she couldn't even wait until they were actually placed before she started abusing them. Tessa said that Jenn was much older than her. I was thinking that Tessa being younger and cuter might have gotten more attention in the group home. Tessa wrote about bring contacted about Jenn on her fb page. Also I think Jenn wanted those babies in particular. If she fostered she'd have to take whatever child they gave her. She couldn't hand pick such pretty little white babies. I think she had no intention of ever helping Tessa get them back like she stated. I also heard that Jenn wanted the third baby Karma Leigh but cps said 3 would be too many which makes me wonder if they actually were aware of concerns because cps doesn't hesitate to place 3 children in a family. They even did it with millies adoptive mom. I think they did suspect abuse and were afraid to remove the kids because Jenn had legal and political connections and would have put up a big public fit. There's a reason why there's a process to foster children. They have to take the classes and during the classes they do exercises and have discussions and you can start to weed people out along with the Intensive paperwork where they have to talk about their history is and their motivations. Her boss at the DA's office never should have called in that favor. I'm thinking more info will come out during the Civil Case

Furthermore, lie means actively telling something opposed to the truth. So, prevaricate doesn't mean lie, it means to avoid telling the truth. It's not an affirmative action, but a passive one. You don't lie, you just don't get around to telling the truth. So, no. Lie is not "literally" a synonym for it.

Why were these girls placed with inexperienced people? It's generally accepted that foster parents need to have prior experience or special training in caring for (especially young) children so they will understand the child's capabilities and milestones. This is done to prevent the frustration he is talking about.

absolutely my thoughts Karen, Although I understand that now this baby is dead, we need a court case to prove the guilty party, however' Why oh why? was there not this intervention while laila WAS ALIVE, to ensure she was in safe hands? just watching ALL these people 'coming forward' giving evidence (brilliant isn't it ?) YET this baby was tortured for 3 months 'till she died. I would be questioning the intervention (IF ANY) Laila had when she was ALIVE. Laila's injuries should & would have been a concern "TO A ROAD SWEEPER) . How was this baby seen to be in danger (with no evidence of abuse but neglect was apparent) while with her mother? HOW? that was noticed YET ALL WHAT THIS CHILD WENT THROUGH WITH THE FOSTER FAMILY ,was NOT seen? wow!

@NativeNYerChicHK

That’s the thing. The defense attorney is trying to avoid discussing the fact that children have wild imaginations but don’t lie consistently very well. At 4 years old they truly can’t tell a truth from a lie in a consistent way. That does NOT mean the child is lying about everything, you couldn’t assume that even with a child with a history of lying. It just means that she doesn’t have the communication skills to factually retell a story of a memory without her imagination getting in the way, whether an involuntary defense mechanism or due to fear, even children with a history of lying can’t help but to pepper their stories with truths. Kids usually always give themselves away when they’re lying. Millie did her best, whether she embellished or misremembered some facts is neither her nor there, because we know for certain that at 4 yrs old she didn’t purposefully lie about the abuse or the situation of that night with the intention of getting these adults convicted of a murder they did not commit. That’s bullshit and the defense attorney is a horrible human being trying to pin this entire case on an evil lying 4 year old Millie. I can’t understand how she sleeps at night either.

Mull injects racism in the hopes that it's a hot button for a few jurors. She's planting the seeds discord during jury deliberation. If you want a Georgia jury to not come to an agreement, make it about race and watch the fireworks. She's been doing this for 35 years, she's good at it.

The attorney didn't "plant a seed of racism." The great grandmother did because she is a hateful racist. Racists seriouslu lack moral character. They would be the type of people to lose their kids to the foster system and then go for a big payout when the child dies.

@@girlfromsouth214 I really hope that the great grandmother takes time when all the dust has settled to look through the videos of the court case and realise that many of those who helped her great grand daughters in life weren't the white, heterosexual christian people she adores, nor were those who have worked hard to seek justice for Laila in death. I am in no way excusing her attitudes but they were common when she grew up.
